i found an item wich gives me +15% archery damage, so i destroyed it with an arcane enchanter and when i want to use the enchant on my armour it only shows +8% archery damage insteado of +15%, does that mean i have to use better soul gems? like grand soul gem?

@papabeer95 Yes, but it's not just bigger soul gems - you need bigger souls in them, like a grand soul in a grand soul gem. And as you enchanting level increases, you will gradually get better and better enchantment values. :)

@Siliency Go to a smith and check his stock for one with a paralyse enchantment - if he doesn't have one, wait 48 hours for him to replenish his stock. There isn't a very easily-accessible item to use other than this method.

This was not what I was expecting but informative anyway. I was unaware that the enchantment was the same regardless of how strong the item was. I wish I had known this before i bought and destroyed master destruction robes. your video was very helpful. thank you.

@anihilterjt i did the same thing. destroyed the 75% magic regen instead of one of the two! 50% I had at the time, thinking I was getting the value with the ability, and since have found 2 more 50% ahhhhh.....hahaha Cheers !

Where do you find new enchantments? If you don't have any enchantments, where can you find items with enchantments already in them so you can learn them? Do you kill things that drop weapons that are already enchanted or can you buy enchantments from somebody..?
