@Fsxbestfriend definitely keep trying! never give up. when i was thirteen i had trouble catching waves too but with practice now i catch all the waves i want. try to find a good break with good forming waves to help you

@Fsxbestfriend Dude, I just started surfing 5 months ago, or so. I'm just 15.. I used to be in great shape, now I'm too lazy to work out.. No matter how hard I try, I stop after like 5 minutes. I'm not overweight at all.. but all my friends tell me WORK OUT, and PRACTICE. You'll get waves no matter what, just remember to PADDLE. Here in Florida we get smaller waves.. if paddling is the problem, consider buying a longer board.

@Fsxbestfriend Hey bro, think about getting or borrowing a longboard and hitting a smaller break. It's an easier way to learn. Then go back to the shorter board. Keep Paddlin!

@Fsxbestfriend When there is no surf.. Go swim. Everyday. Technically, if you have good position compared to where the wave is breaking.. You don't need to paddle too much to catch it.
