  • By the time I got old enough to drive in December 83,I didn't have have any money to go to the Attic in Greenville or Roadie's in Goldsboro.I had two older brothers who saw a lot of concerts there.

  • As a Solider at Fort Bragg in the late 70`s early 80`s we spent many a nights in clubs up close Rockin with Nantucket & P K M shows. Pee Wee , Kenny & Mike would pull up chairs at our tables & drink a beer with us on more than one occasion .There was not a night that we did not get our moneys worth . Great Band & Great Guys & for a while Great Friends. Have to close with a Big Thank You & hope our paths cross again because :It Don`t Take Much To Keep Me Happy !

  • What a great night June 6th! These guys were great and wish they'd keep playing!! God bless Mike and his battle with Parkinson's!!

  • hey, I was there during this era mainly at the Attic, but also the Switch, Roadies, etc Remember Sidewinder, Maxx Warrior, Brice Street, Gardners of Soule, Glassmoon, Gib Droll, obviously Cry of Love, on and on... To me... those were the days of great music every weekend and cool people.

    Ok back to reality.

Looking forward to the PKM, Nantucket thang at the Lincoln in June 6th!

  • Kick Ass band!!!

Man we had it good back then!

  • Where Bands make it Rock...Roadies Makes it Roll. My friends and I used to go see PKM, Doc Holliday, Nantucket, Sidewinder, Mother's Finest at Roadies in Goldsboro ALL THE TIME. I have a scrap book of all sorts of memorabilia from those days. Wish there was more of DH on Youtube - esp. Magic Midnight. PKM just ROCKED and still sounds better than a lot of bands today.

  • Roadies was one of the best clubs on the east coast for live rock and roll...and to think it started off as a disco...(the upper left). I use to work for a band that played roadies...I'd love to see some of your scrap books some day

  • @glasswolfnc

Wow, "Roadies makes it rock, but bands make it roll"!! Goldsboro NC greatest club (prior to the Upper Left disco stuff). How about the Attic in Greenville which looks like where this was filmed??

  • Hey mace963. What kind of memorabilia of DH do you have? I played with Doc for a few years. Thanks.

  • I'm not really sure. It's been ages since I looked at that stuff. Probably guitar pics and Roadies club lineups. I used to have a DH tshirt that I LOVED. no idea where or when it got tossed. Also had the first album that is also mysteriously missing....

  • I grew up here in Raleigh, Grad in 81 at Enloe, I loved every weekend wondering where I was going to see nantucket or My Fav PKM.. Thanks to all who got these posted,

If anyone on here was at the switch between 81-85 please write

  • I was.....it was THE PLACE TO ROCK!

  • OMG, a blast from the past. One of my favs ever. Tobacco Road was rockin'. Also saw them in Fayetteville with Dennis Tolbert Band.

  • PKM (@) PKMROCKS (Dot) com

  • Oh man!! PKM, Nantucket, Maxx Warrior, Doc Holliday, Sidewinder. Greenville,NC The Attic night club was the place to be lots of woman cold beer good bands what a rush! its a damn shame its not open anymore I guess I need to go back down there and open up another Attic type club and let the good ole time happen again!! I sure do miss them days! hell,, lets do it again!!!!!

  • you no what would be good you should make a video with pkm and ac/dc

  • Sidewinder?? Yeah...How great was that to see them at The Switch, etc?! And too many other bands to name as well. I bartended at The Switch the last 3 years it was open. ('87-'90) Most fun I ever had working!! Thanks for putting up all of these videos!!

  • If you go to Kenny Soule's Myspace site, you can send him a message. He e-mailed me back and his is out gigging a bit. Both PKM and Nantucket should have been huge. Bad timing or bad management. Good thing is they are both "our little secret".

  • Used to go see these guys play everywhere in Raleigh back in the day. Maxx Warrior, Doc Holliday, Sidewinder...those were the days. Music City, Bears Den, Silver Bullet...oh man i wish it was 20 years ago again.

  • Raleigh had such a great music scene. What happened to it? When I was too young and broke to go see them, we had it all. Now, nothing.

  • The drinking age went from 18 to 21 in the spring of 1984 which drained the fuel of a vibrant club scene - among other reasons.

  • Tell me about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How about the group Sidewinder? Does anyone remember them?

  • Yeah...I remember Sidewinder.... Awesome band.. do you remember Doc Holliday?

  • I remember Doc! I played drums on their 4th Album, Danger Zone. Jamie Deckard here. Does anyone have any video on Doc from 1984 to 1986? Thanks. The Switch and The Attic Ruled!

  • Hi Jamie! Robin here, yeah their old soundguy. I was working with 'tucket when you were with Doc though. I may have mixed a couple of shows when you were there. Hope all is swell with ya.

  • Hey Robin. I hope all is well with you and yours too. Where are you living now?

  • Thanks man! Same to ya.

    Bonaire....right outside Warner Robins.

  • The Switch was so awesome!

  • Hell yeah, still friends with Jan the male lead singer....lol!

  • does anyone know what this guys are up to now days, livin in fla.out of touch,

  • PeeWee is still in Raleigh. Mike is in South Carolina. Kenny is in New York, although he often plays in Raleigh. Check out the PKM page on the RTC site for links to Kenny.

  • meet wife of 30yrs.with pkm

  • I'll sign it!!!

  • I'll sign that petition Markq1251. It was a glorious day when I stumbled across the Return to Comboland site. PKM should at least have their own web site where you could go to order CDs online to keep the memories alive.

  • WOOOHOOOOOO!!!! That's the one we've ALL been waiting for!!! Keep em coming Comboland

  • Oh man, what a relief. I needed the PKM! Comboland should start a petition to get these guys playing again.
