Are you using your Prophet 08 as a controller?? man that is one expensive midi controller... its cool that you got a KRONOS, looks like a very powerful beast. I myself am a simpler man and just got a Nord Stage 2... but do not think you{ll find it all that useful for your leads lol
Every time you upload one of these, I end up inches away from the screen in absolute fascination. Watching your creative process, even a tiny snippet of it, is quite an experience.
Hi, Is it correct that you use the top keybord only as midi keyboard and all the sounds are generated by the Kronos? That would be great as I own one too. In my setup I do the same using a midi keyboard through USB. It is even powered through USB! One PSU less to take on stage... I love the Kronos....
That actually looks like a heck of a lot of work, and not so much fun... Apart from the red wine bit of course. It's always good to see synths with some proper tree wood on the ends in Frost Reports though. in .
Great Jem... eleven minutes of sanity mixed with the 'in' sanity.... Maybe one day you will be touring the USA and if by chance you get to the west-end of the USA, primarily Arizona. I may get a chance to see you play live. Cheers Howie
You know, Jem. It's your own fault, what with making a widdly widdly prog classic and all. But thank you for the geekery. It's great to hear "your" sound again.
Some of these sections have been my warm-up for a while, and even at this odd angle I can see I'm doing it completely wrong. Gahaha. If one has to perform this monolith of prog widdly again, perhaps swap out one of the sections for something original, to stop one becoming bored? :P Or perhaps just perform what you do at 6:12 on stage. xD

4:49 ... Nice to hear that even an expensive device like the Kronos has those "ohh god did they really mean to keep that in there" sounds...
