Technically, Halo would be the older brother. The first two Halos pushed the known boundaries of the console. Halo: CE was revolutionary for both the PC and console. That was before Nazisoft tried taking over. Crysis has pulled a lot of inspiration out of Halo. Crysis is the new, popular younger brother who's older brother has already conquered a path. Crysis is following that path and while doing so, is making history of its own. CoD, well CoD is that guy next door trying to copy the movies.

Would any gaming company release data on how many of it's products were returned within the month? Of course not. I traded BO (yes it stunk, not even deodorant would help) for Crysis. Honestly IMO this is wave of fresh air for the FPS. Sure it needs more polishing and fine tuning (in several areas actually) but hey it's Crytek's first take on the consoles. Crysis 3 will only be better.

Halo 4 is coming out to continue the story, the covenant aren't dead. If you say anything like Halo should've died or not been made anymore, just stop. Halo is the only decent Xbox game being made with Gears Of War 3.

@Hal0Prodigy To me, Crysis takes the best of Call of Duty and Halo and combines them into an epic state no game can acheive. For one, a Halo-Simular suit combined with CoD controls (used in most FPS shooters these days), plus a unique storyline and epic graphics make crysis.

When I meant that Crysis 2 was a "wave of fresh air" I meant that where the campaign is concerned. It's not the best story, hell it's not a gripping story at all, but the replay value is still very high. I went back at least 4-5 times playing through single-player through the levels I especially liked.

Just beat the single-player.. VERY challenging, even on the Normal difficulty (unless you exploit a few small tactics). I died many times...

Great setup, though there were a few parts where I was kinda miffed (the Mission Labrat: I fell through a floor into water, couldn't escape). But otherwise, it was great.. Kept me on the edge, and the last mission.. Godly.. Great game, GOTY, better than any FPS I've played, campaign-wise, Halo 2 is the 2nd best FPS to this.

I definitely recommend.
