I have the same problem and I would like to know how this can be fixed? Mine is the same kind of emachine T5254 mine shuts down at the windows screen. I tried to reinstall windows and it goes to setup and shuts down. Its not the hard drive nor the motherboard. Could it be the power supply or the heat sink fan? The only think i can do now is boot from a disc. Please help!!

try getting a bios update and flashing the bios
