Actually Nanaya performed this move by throwing his knife to his enemy if it hits the heart of his oppnent then actually he teleports above of his opponent and break his neck... it's more like of a steven seagal style where he breaks the neck.
If I recall correctly. Nanaya throws the knife and then starts moving at the same speed as the thrown knife. The opponent is forced into one of 2 situations:
1. They catch the knife but Nanaya snaps their neck.
OR
2. They block Nanaya but allow the knife to rip through their vital organs.
But uh I think that they get those situation, I mean like even if you try to block his 'Instant Death' it's also useless unless the opponent jumps before nanaya throws his knife and yeah that's the only option of the opponent could have only jumps to air so that they'll evade his 'Instant Death' fatal move. Also according to some MBAC (Melty Blood Act Cadenza) forumers that when he throws his knife it was aimed at the heart of the opponent and then the break of the neck.
@SaiyajinSeraphim Actually you are wrong if you see he slices the opponent twice. If you hae read the manga there are to points as he sees them the Life point and The Death point so with this move he hits them both one with the knife throw and the other after he grabs the knife and slices it. BTW this move Does not exist in the manga nor the anime. And most IMPORTANTLY his Name is Shiki of The Seven Nights Clan.
@qazaq992 I appreciate the point you're showing. So I'll present a counter argument. in Kagetsu Tohya, Shiki's head gets ripped off with that attack. He chose to parry the knife which would have otherwise taken out his intestines as well as his heart. Also note that the Kagetsu Tohya version of Nanaya could not see the lines of death as he's considered the Shiki who never experienced death or learnt the values in living. In Melty Blood I assume that the opponent gets his/her neck snapped.
nice nice..but the one- hit to kill i like most is that the Inversed shiki perform in mugen... he stab his opponent living point or point of death.. no ache.. only an instant death...its more poetic
The move comes from one of the day endings in the semi-sequel to Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya. Shiki encounters his alter-ego/nightmare self Nanaya in the city and fights with him when he does the Instant Death Nanaya, ripping Shiki's head away from his body with the spine attached. Since Shiki's stuck in a dream world, it's not necessarily game over, just an especially bad ending to another repetition of the same day.
@SaiyajinSeraphim If you have read the manga or watched the anime Shingetsutan Tsukihime you would see that Nanaya or Seven Nights is engraved onto his switchblade.
Yes it is. It's Nanaya's Last Arc in Melty Blood as well. The attack you're talking about was made in MUGEN. The quote he uses before he stabs the opponent is one of his win quotes.
Nope. Kyokuchi Nanaya is Nanaya's proper last arc as you need to shield to activate it. The special he was one about doesn't require you to shield. It's more of a One Hit KO Arc Drive.
Nope. If you actually play Melty Blood Re-ACT, Nanaya's last arc is Kyokushi Nanaya. The attack you were talking about doesn't exist in the game. It was made for Mugen. To use Kyokushi Nanaya you must be in Blood Heat and shield while standing.

Then Kishima Kouma kills Nanaya and Shiki fights and defeats him. Thus earning Len as a familar. The end.

"Kyokushi....Nanaya."
I forgot what it meant in english. It would either be "Extreme Death Nanaya" or "Instant Death Nanaya"
ArbelTheWicked 4 years ago
Extreme Death Seven Nights is what it really translates into but Extreme Death Nanaya was how I saw it.
