  • did you notice a differance with the jet chip with mpg or power?

  • @nboogiem50 It pulled a little harder in the upper RPMs but i wouldn't buy it again. not enought performance gain for the money

  • @4wheeler14 thanks for the info. your jeep looks nice. mine is silver.

  • i had a vpower muffler put on, looks and sounds just like a flowmaster and costs a lot less. its stainless too.

  • can you post the jet chip your using..for me please..

  • Nice ride dude. I love my 04 and will never give it up. Fellow Jeeper tip... use engine degreaser, scrub what you can and after she dries, use tire foam on your entire engine compartment to keep it spectacular. It will look brand new even if you have 200,000 miles on it.

    Ride Hard...Jeep

  • @gratefuldude2001 Thanks man, I will never get rid of this thing either. Now she has straight pipe, and an intake!! Sounds badass. Thanks for the tip too!

  • Is that the stage 1 or 2 chip?

  • @2wheelcody Stage 1

  • what does the wj mean?

  • @MikeOrnhole WJ denotes the series of the Grand Cherokee. The body style and years of production.

    1993-1998= ZJ

    1999-2004=WJ

    2005-2010=WK

  • @4wheeler14 neat thanks

  • when i get what i want done to it i definatly will, and if your looking for more power, you may want to consider a K&N FIPK, i put one on my jep and it made a HUGE difference in everything, it even makes the engine sound twice as big as it really is

  • @NothinsEverAvailable That is next on the list. They do make the engine sound badass, plus the Flowmaster it will be one mean machine. I'm saving up money for one

  • @4wheeler14 build a cold air intake yourseldf man! Go t home depot or somethin and buy some black 3 inch abs pipe and a cone filter. thats really all it is. tubing and a filter. k&n aem airraid spectre they are all the same you know?

  • okay thanks alot for taking the time to give me that info., ive come to find that very few people will do that lol

  • @NothinsEverAvailable No problem. Anything to help a fellow Jeep enthusiast! Post a vid of your truck sometime

  • its an 04', and it has the standard 4.7, not the HO

  • @NothinsEverAvailable Ok this is going to be confusing, but you have to do it inorder to get the correct part. You're looking for either p/n 90002 or 90402. The first one is for a 3-harness ECU and the second one is for a 4-harness ECU. Locate your ECU and see which one you have. 3 connectors=90002, 4 connectors=90402. I ordered my chip for 2004-2006 GCs (4 connectors) but I found out my 2004 has a 2003 ECU (3 connectors). Avoid this by seeing which one you have before ordering

  • whats poppin man, im sorry for drilling you with quetions but can you possibly get me the link for the chip you have there? if you dont remember it i completely understand, as i have severe memory problems myself lol

  • @NothinsEverAvailable Ask as many questions as you want. It's no trouble for me. First off, what year is your Grand Cherokee

  • im diggin the color of your WJ man, i have the exact same one except mine is green. anyways, im in the market for a performance chip, did that jet chip make a noticable difference in power/torque/fuel economy?

  • @NothinsEverAvailable Thanks for the compliment. I love this truck. Anyway I've only had the chip installed for about 2 weeks now. I did feel a difference in throttle responce and the 4.7 likes to rev quicker as well. As for hp and torque, I say it might had added about 10-20 to each. The truck feels a little more "peppier" off the line and up around 4000 RPM. Can't comment on fuel economy at the moment since I got 14.8 MPG before the chip and still get that number now.

  • What ever happened to your GTO? You still have it?

  • @Thomasmen523 Yup, I still have it. Runnin better than ever lol. I've been preoccupied with this truck since July, but I still take it out every now and then

  • nice, I love these, plan to buy one soon

if only the fuel and tax and insurance weren't so expensive here....oh well, just gotta take the hit I guess

  • @iainthornton I get about 15 MPG with about 60% city driving and 40% highway. Not bad for a V8 at all. Insurance isn't too bad, it is up there but it's just like any other SUV. If you're an avid Jeep enthusiast, you should get one!

  • @4wheeler14

I really am, planning to buy my uncle's 03 model because I'm supposed to be going to Austria and I want something to deal with the snow.+ I love Jeeps

tax will be £435 per year

    fuel at £5.10

insurance maybe £10,000 at least for me in Britain, but a few hundred abroad :)

haha yeah, but 15mpg is horrible in Britain, where we're paying £5.10 per gallon lol

it's no worse than my father's Range Rover though

subscribed anyway, love the car (Y)

I'll get vids up next year when I get one!

  • @iainthornton Wow I didn't know gas and insurance were so expensive there. Good luck with your Jeep. Can't wait to see some videos of it in the snow

  • @4wheeler14

it'll be a while, but I'll let you know when I got them

my insurance on my 1.2 litre Vauxhall Corsa is £1060 lol, it's not fun

we just get dicked on every day to be honest, but eventually I'll be able to I hope :)
