I was getting tired of the glorification of vampires as the superior supernaturals ... it's good to see they're no longer at the top of the metaphysical food chain. I hate how they portray werewolves as subordinate to them, too (I'm partial to werewolf lore over vampire legend) ... and how they shift into wolves. I'd have prefered they look like the werewolves in The Howling, myself. And the super vampire speed nonsense sucks.

And people seem to forget that vampires exist to feed and prey on us. They are creatures to be feared. If this were a real scenario, I would be joining the ranks of Antonia's coven.

Eric has mentioned that he ate children before, and he probably killed them as well. It would make for good writing if there was a scene in which Eric fed and killed a child, having no remorse for such a young victim. I would like to see the reactions
