the only band I would compare RH to are possibly King Crimson w Greg Lake or Yes first few albums..sometimes a bit Floydesque.... no one plays like them Great chords, riffs etc.... great engineering not something one can really put into words but just enjoy !

The band let you pay what ever you wanted for In Rainbows, give away concert DVDs and they've make a concious effort to avoid advertisement in their live shows since Kid A. Jusst because Radiohead's retarded nephew Coldplay and to less of an extent Muse stole certain aspects of this bands musicality (they're not called influential for nothing) doesn't make them comercial.

Yes, I have the impression they started too slow, the singer trying to speed up a little, and the band catching up later. Maybe it was something they worked on, as there are other parts where they slow down and speed up more than a little. I don't like this play a lot, given this is one of the most beatiful songs ever written
