Walter's 113th Birthday

Terms like "living legend" get tossed around too loosely, just as do terms like "hero", "great", and more. But in this case, this is a man who really, really, REALLY deserves the title Living Legend. Life is the greatest thing there is, period, and Walter Breuning has had more life than any other male on the entire planet. More than almost any other man in the entire history of the Human race, since men of his age are unbelievably rare. I almost worship him, and I'm totally serious.

Yes, I know. Learning about supercentenarians is one of my absolute obsessions. Read my post again, noting words like "almost". And when I said "more than any other male on the entire planet", that was living at the time. Since he was the oldest, there were none with more. And if you read, you'll see immediately after that, I referred to "almost" - ALMOST!!! - any other man in the entire history of the Human race. The two who had lived longer would embody that ALMOST.

This man is incredible.  If you said he was 114 years old I would never have guessed it.
