I saw Concrete Octopus in 1993 opening for Zeni Geva. Somewhere in Tokyo, I can't remember the venue, but it was a big concert venue rather than one of the smaller clubs like 20,000V. (niman volto). Eye's hair seemed to be in long dreads, or maybe he had a rasta-style hat on. Anyway, here his hair seems to be up in a ponytail.

To introduce each song he would scream "CONCRETE MUTHAFUCKA OCTO!!!"

One of the things I like about Boredoms, is they are so genuine, they aint showoff- for example, all thier music is sooo tight, but they make it seem so all over the place.

This isn't actullay by the Boredoms. Concrete Octopus is a short-lived side-project from Eye, they never recorded an album but I believe they recorded one track for a Japanese compilation of some sort. The band didn't last long though, the only other place of reference being a Destroy 2 (another Eye side-project) song called 'RIP Concrete Octopus'
