This guy never recovered from losing his moms. Understandable, but then, pretty sad, seeing as he was a useful power player at the 4 spot who basically could still be playing, if it wasn't for that tragic loss and his inability to continue onwards from there.

I have always loved Swift's game. That's how a man 6'10 should play. Nothing but strong finishing at the rim. I don't know nothing about him personally, but I have always wished the Celts would have picked him up. i have always been confused why he hasn't become the player I thought he should have been.

What a chronic underachiever and waste of superior athletic ability. I remember him at LSU and was convinced then that he didn't have the body or the head to play in the NBA. He has yet to prove me wrong.

hell yeah. these youtube highlights of swift fool everyone everytime when swift becomes a freeagent. they sure as hell fooled the rockets. swift can't rebound. swift can play defense. yeah he can blocks shots, but not every night. dude looks clueless when they set plays on offense and defense (low b-ball iq). dude would prolly still be on the rockets roster if he had even half the work ethic and determination chuck hayes has. if chuck hayes had the talent of swift, he would be a great player.

Yea, I agree guys. Stromile is a waste.  Besides this nice vid of his highlighted dunks and blocks, there is nothing else to say about his unachieved NBA Career.

Agreed, his coaches have wasted his talent by giving minutes to inferior players, such as with Juwan Howard when Stromile was in Houston.

i thin he has teh perfect nba body, fast, can jump, and his jump shot is good, waste of talent defently, i think when he came to the nba he had all the ods to be on of the greatest playrs of all time.
