I loved Bad Company when it was lighthearted, like this video. Why did they turn Bad Company 2 into some serious bullcrap about nothing, all in an effort to compare to other games *coughCODcough*?

Even Battlefield 3 is feeling a little bit off from itself. Also, they say it in this video, "big open sandbox gameplay". BC1 SP embraced this, and itself good because of it. So why is BC2 and BF3 linear bullcrap?!
