  • Think the L39 could sport a 1300 mha battery?

  • i just bought one and a spare airframe on impulse with 2 1000 mah bats, sweet.

  • What remote control did you use? (The Neme) Please

    Many Thanks,

    Shay

  • I loved that bonus footage... It sounded like a F1 car :p

Great flying and great reviews, keep up the good work over there :-)

  • help! i wanna buy this plane or the mini f-18... any advice? they look very similar in the air... i need to know 2 things:

-whitch one is easier for a beguinner? (flown helicopters and planes on simulator but never a real rc plane)

-landing gears come with the l39? and with the f18? (i'm scared by hand launch)

  • Doesn't seems very durable epo you broke the wing on landing hahaha

  • Dude nice STL Blues hat!, very odd question, where are you located? Because the endless farm fields look oh so familiar...

  • looks like this one flys great can we get a review on the mini f-35 please.

  • Where is the supernova extreme? Keep it up Paul!

  • @vmat377 It's being built now, just keep getting side tracked with all these other projects I have at the moment. Hopefully be done in a few weeks. Thanks Vince.

    Paul

  • Oh Paul is awesome!

  • The L-39 seems unstable but if HK sold the Supernova it would be out of stock quickly. Love that Supernova.

  • not to be funny, but the best plane in this video, is the supernova. that is awesome!!

definitely gonna try building one. thanks for video!

  • Everyone, I just added a link to the Free plans and HobbyKing equipment list for the SuperNova. Please see the video notes.

  • hey, i really like hk they have great prices but there is a litle problem i have i have a t-rex 450 clone i have for about a year now and i havent flown it yet becouse i have lods of trouble with it so i went to a local hobby store and they told me i wasent enshured with my electronics if i hit some person with it so is that true :( and there is another problen i have bougt 2 gyro's the 2nd is the 401 and i think thats woking but i also have the hk-7x and not working great :( but i still like hk

  • Great little EDF and it was good to see the SuperNova again Paul and i'd for gotten how fast that bad boy goes ;-)

  • supernova never gets old. wish i could collect the whole mini series but my wife would kill me

  • The plane at the end is the ( . Y . )

  • Nice that plane flew very fast.

  • Hey Paul, nice review, looks like a cracking little 50mm jet. I'm thinking this would make a good candidate for a Hoffman Wild Mighty Mite motor and something like a WeMo Micro Fan. An airframe-only version of this would be great for those of us that don't want the stock fan/motor/ESC, although from your vid it looks to have a pretty good performance. I feel the need for speed!!

  • Fastest pass I ran my doplered program on was the last one at 135 mph! NICE!!!

The radar gun is nice but if you are flying down wind (with the wind) you get a higher speed, you need to average two passes, one each direction to eliminate the wind factor. jb

  • Brilliant plane at the end.

  • Great bonus @ the end!!!

    Powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

  • Nice review. The plane on steroids at the end was fassssst. Question on the L 39 you think you could add a rudder with a 5g servo? I am going to check the plane out on their website.

  • @photobart1 Thanks for the comment. I'm sure you could add a rudder as you mentioned, might be a good mod to make the plane even more manuverable.

  • big motor?! thats nothing compared to wat ive got hiding in my shed.....

  • @6dood6 bigger motor? Cool would love to see it. Post a video reply. We love fast planes, LOL. I will be making a new plane with a bigger motor from HobbyKing sometime soon.

  • lol @ at the rise in pitch in his voice at the end of every sentence.

  • That thing at the end: ZOMG!

  • Wow I want one of them thats at the end haha! Excellent stuff! :D

  • @TAKTEZ Thanks for the comment. The plane at the end can be easily scratch built with affordable parts from hobbyking.

  • anybody can help me know where does this guy's funny accent come from?? PLEASE!

  • @Fra42below LOL, not sure where my accent came from, but I was born and rasied and lived all my life in the USA. Anyway, thanks for watching.

  • @HobbykingLive yeps I know you re from the US. I am just wondering where in the US you 're from.

and btw i love HK and love your videos. your accent adds to the coolness of the whole thing, lol

  • @Fra42below Oh... LOL. I lived in northern California near Sacramento most of my life, So I guess if any accent I have it would be from there. I now have lived in Missouri for about 5 years which is in the Midwest of the USA. So maybe now I'm getting some sort of crazy California- Midwest accent, LOL.

  • @Fra42below He has no accent!

  • end is the best, should be on its own, seperated vid, so good it is!!

  • @First2ner Thanks for the comment! We are hoping to do some more scratch build videos with planes made with HobbyKing parts in the future. You can also see more of this plane at the end of this video by following the link in the video notes. Thanks!

  • fast little beast

  • Great review as always and superb bonus footage! Thanks!
