I found the autotune to be a clever way to make a point, not only in the fashion VP explained, but also in suggesting that reality TV stars usually have no talent whatsoever and are totally undeserving of any celebroty status placed upon them, hence the autotune which is becoming one of the worst ways to "enhance" a voice.
