I got a question about the Watt's up meter.

I bought one and it came in the mail and I decided to test it out on things. bad idea, one of the things I test was a electrical socket. It burnt it out and now it is no good anymore, oh well my fault, but before I buy a new one, here is my question.

What fuse do you put on the wires going into the watt's up meter, because it does not have its own fuse obviously :(

Nice shed mate, I'm going to build mine as well, i already have the parts (batteries, solar panels wind turbine (which is not installed yet) etc. One question. I live in Tottenham Hale, do you know if I need planning permission to erect the wind turbine like yours? Thanks
