Ferguson was pretty good. I kind of tuned out half of the crap he said because I was eating cookies, but things he said about younger players made sense.

I also think that the Leafs outplayed the Sabres immensely and I have put Miller on my hit list.

Well this is actually the FIRST I've ever heard of him, but I'm actually staring at a few sites regarding him right now. Nothing but rave reviews, which is exciting. University players are unpredictable. The Leafs future already looks decent in my opinion, and if they sell later this month it should be even better.

The idea of a Tank Nation out there is pretty hilarious to me. I first heard about the whole thing from Greg Brady (co-host of the Bill Watters Show), and it basically implies that the team should lose consistently for the rest of the year to preserve a shot at Steve Stamkos #1 overall

of COURSE they're interested, but can they get him? They're already spending something like 18-20 million on their defense core. NONE of the players you mentioned, I think, are aquireable to the Leafs.

Zednik acted fast and immediately skated to the bench, if he decided to fall over and waited for a trainer it might of been a different story.

I encourage every hockey player no matter what calibur to wear neckguards, as we'd probably die before medical help arrives. Zednik was lucky he had so many medical staff on standby

one thing to the NHL's credit, their mecical staff is fantastic. there's literally 3 instances I can think of in my lifetime where they've saved somebody's life (Malarchuk, Fischer, Zednik).

props for giving toskala reckognition and it's true hate to see a goalie lose 1-0 or even 2-1 you can't win a game most of the time if you only score one goal. The team has to back him up.

much appreciated, thank you. It's a Leaf tradition to hang your goalies out to dry. As much as Raycroft sucks this year he was pretty much hung out to dry last year AND this year. It's one thing to get booed, it's another to be booed by your own fans, and it's a completely different ball-game to get booed at your team's skills competition.

The Zednik incident was exactly what you said it was, a 'freak accident'. In the last 20 years, this has happened twice, one of them being Zednik and the other a goalie Malarchuk back in '89.

The subject of mandatory visors alone is still on the table and will be for a while now. If neck guards are implemented it means that the number of accidents such as Zednik's are beginning to rise. So no, I don't want to see them go mandatory if that's the case. Visors need to come first, IMO.

Ferguson was excellent last night. He is a smart guy, but was unable to properly do his job, because of the 1 arm tied around his balls...and Peddie peeking over his shoulder.

JFJ made sense when he explained the contracts he signed the players to. I still can't believe a GM actually wanted to trade for McCabe, but that is another story.

Well I thought Stillman and Commodore should've been the icing on the cake but they're 0-2 by my count. If they can find somebody to step up and become the undisputed #1 goalie then they're a threat again. But right now if I'm almost any of the top 8 teams in the west I'm not that scared of Ottawa. Go to the SteveDangle facebook group and read my article I wrote about Ray Emery. I think you'd find it interesting.

Man the leafs did play very well last night but they still lost, for the way the leafs played they deserved the 2 points out of that one...Toskala played very well, they put on pressure but couldn't beat miller which makes me very pist off... Miller did play very well last night... and no i don't think that the leafs will make the plaoffs either..but still I can say GO LEAFS GO...but don't ask me why
