  • the music that was playing was sweet! awesome match man.

  • Man that was a PERFECTLY placed spinning back kick. I make the mistake of hitting the chest. You hit the sweet spot.

  • that music makes me crazy!!

    :)

  • I like your "what's up?" stance after you nailed that dolyo at 0:59.

  • That being said, hell of a fight.

  • Thank You so much for Proving that TKD is not weaker than Muay Thai

  • @BooHwal10thVocal That proves nothing. All that showed me was the inexperience of the Thai fighter compared to our friendly TKD fighter. Muay Thai is much greater due to four more strike options available. An elbow hurts a hell of a lot more than a fist does, I promise. If I wasn't so far out of his weight class, I'd prove it. But I'm twice his weight.

  • @SmartMiroku The martial art of Taekwondo also employs the use of the fist, foot, knee, shin and elbow, as well as headbutts, eye gouges and joint locks. The Thai fighter had 10 pro muay thai bouts. This was my first one. He had more Thai fighting experience. It doesn't prove the superiority of TKD, but it does prove that TKD is equally as effective when trained for the ring and not limited by the rules of Olympic sparring. I won this fight because of my TKD training.

  • @kwonkicker I do applaud you, it isn't often that I get to watch a good bout online. Especially from an amateur in the sport. And my knowledge of the TKD is based purely on those I have sparred against and my one street fight with one where I live. I also know that there is a huge difference between American TKD and Korean TKD. I wouldn't mind learning Korean, but I just feel that American TKD is rubbish.

  • Was that a low spinning hook or spinning back i could not tell

  • Nice spinning back kick man !

  • ohh man. i think the thai guy was injured seriously. it looks like an damaged bean. sad....

  • @calimeero It was a shot to the liver. The replay at the end in the stadium confirms it. The heel hits on the flesh, just above the waist band of the shorts.

  • @kwonkicker nice kick at 2:00 man right on the liver :D

  • @kwonkicker is a shot to the liver still a win?

  • The other fighter is fucked up, its a KO by bodyshot. hes still conscious but his bodys shut down from da pain. @fightlife22

  • DOES HE DIE

  • Just for a heads-up. The reason the reff yelled at kwon after the judo throw fail, is because even though you can sweep and trip people in the clinch ,you can't "throw" them to the ground. And when kwon tries to touch gloves with the guy and the guy kicks him instead. Its because that's not part of their culture.

  • FUCK YOUR THE MAN LIKE AND SUBSCRIBED 10/10 keep it up :)

  • oh and congratulations in your victory and your channel has some great instructional and inspiring videos! Thanks.

  • yikes...you were going for the kill after that back kick. badboyee. Not so popular to see a backkick in muay thai, guess that's the muay/tkd hybrid! that heel connection was off perpindicular. When I mess around with the kyoshu taps, almost all of the hand strikes are off perpindicular, the path starting between 0-45 degrees. Knocks the energy line out.

  • atta boy

  • Kwonkicker is just the boss!

  • good fight !

  • 0:56 come on!!!

  • is this muay thai?

  • @SuperBananapeel1 The Uploader is a TKD Practitioner, the other guy is a Muay Thai Practitioner. And this was a Muay Thai Bout in Thailand.

  • a right uppercut at about 1:43 from kwonkicker would have been bitchin. then again, i'm an armchair quarterback.

  • @asenseofhate We wasnt in a good position for it. A Vertical Elbow, maybe.

  • that was fast......... and im pretty sure that Kwonkicker didnt even get hurt or tired on that one :)

  • omg nice kick!!! that guy was owned!

  • @Niyorills

    u wish.....

  • 55kg?! omg your light haha :P

  • Muay thai usually go easy on a first round, then be little bit more aggressive starting from a second round, no? People usually bet after the first round. I thought it was their way of doing things?

  • lol !!kwonkicker is good !!!:0

  • Comment removed

  • is he ok?

  • i thought you had a long hiar kwon kicker, for a second. nice fight though

  • hey kwon, great job ^.^

Your opponent seemed just brutal and aggressive, you felt the same thing?

  • Nice work man!! Nice kick

  • dude this is some great work you put on your opponent :D constant preasure with multiple versions of fast kicks respect ;)

  • WHAT A HORRIBLE SONG

  • Wtf is that stupid arabin shit in the background

  • @iceman21ify

it's Thai live music on bagpipes used in every traditional muay thai fight. why? You like it? whuehehehe

  • @iceman21ify well look at the martial arts newbie.

  • 0.58

Perfect chance for probably anything, especially a knockout turning kick to the head :)

  • i knew tkd is a very good martial art

  • is this ur first muay thai fight?

  • 63 kg , my weight :) very difficult punching to ko with gloves . Better to choose for kicks , my same tactic . Also very similar background

  • damn.... disrespect. he deserved to be knocked out in the first round.

  • Brilliant ... saludos desde COLOMBIA :D

  • TKD Guy destroyed the Muay Thai guy. The whole fight! He didnt even use any punches!! Just kicks.

  • well done ;)

  • back kick was awesome trying to put that in my arsenal

  • HOLY FUCK dennis siver much your sick man keep it up

  • Love your work!! Love all ur training videos, congrats on your first win!!

  • TKD&Kwon <3

  • He paid the price for not touching gloves.

  • @twitchykun Aha yeah thats what i was looking at.

At the start, pretty fucking disrespectful.

  • @Egomaniacs239 the only thing bad about this video is the music!

  • Has anyone ever told you you look a bit like Kenny Florian? It's not a striking resemblence, but a resemblence nonetheless.

Very nice kick at the end, by the way.

  • Good fight.

  • omg i wouldnt like to get kicked like that!!!

  • was it in the liver?

  • Yo stop hateing on the guy !!!!! he kick the shit out that guy!!! deff broke his ribs and took all!! the air Oout of him Sick kick nice work

  • I love the part where you get him with a roundhouse and your like "What?!?"

  • That's badass! You blocked or evaded almost everything he threw at you and then finished with style. Awesome fight!

  • Kwon. Well done sir. Your kicks were crisp and non-telegraphed. That backkick is what i WISH i could do. Awesome. Ignore the haters!

  • @kwonkicker : you're great dude... this is prove that not the style or the form, but the fighters... keep it up bro... you made TKD proude...

  • Ah man that was perfect! It was clear that your kicks were glancing through and causing him trouble and that spinning back was amazing! Well hit and great fight man, I'm proud!

  • well done :) how did your shins felt after the fight?

  • Aha, sorry I didn't know that you had no fights before that fight. Thumbs up then! ;) If it's true whatcha sayin', you may start do muay thai. ;) Just my opinion.. I don't like his style it's not effective.. his movements are bad.. And yeah that round kicks had hurts...

  • lol at 0:58 oh well

  • great fight subing now

  • *touch gloves*

Muay thai: Fuck that shit. STRIKE! Ah shit... better work on my aim

  • Thanks for the HD upload, Kwon. By the way, how the heck did you concentrate with that horrid music playing?

  • @xRothkox Horrid music? You're punk..

  • 1:16 THIS AINT JUDO SON!!

  • Congratulations!

By the way what they were doing on 2:30 with him. I assume the guy had broken ribs, but why do they pick him up so. Is it to check? Or to 'heal'?

  • The ref. seemed to have a problem with you from the moment you attempted that throw, pushing and pulling you a little unnecessarily.

  • Man, objective and direct fight, as MuayThai requires! I liked to see. Always watch your videos and demonstrations always wanted to see you in a direct combat, very good!

  • duuuude this makes me SOOO AMPED for my first mauy thai fight in november!!!!

  • That was a beautiful turn kick! For some reason, when I'm sparing, I'm usually not comfortable leading with a turn kick, but rather I tend to use the turn kick in a combo, say maybe after throwing an offensive spin kick. Of course I'm only a green belt so I'm sure that will change and evolve as I practice and learn.

  • Massive stomach shot.

  • Great fight!

  • I am a Muay Thaier with Korean kick background as well. I worked on the turn back kick after watching your video, and landed one in my fight. See my video. Too bad he didn't drop like your fight. But the turn back kick is great against Muay Thai fighters, Cung Le proved that as well.

  • Do you know when you're going for the second fight??, you're going for a second fight right?

  • CHEATING FUCK, IT HIT THE RIBS!!

  • @snaggypaggy he hit the liver

  • @ShyGuy82 They block, and lean away from, techniques which can seriously harm them. Muay Thai practices not blocking Kicks to the body too often, to 'demonstrate' their strength, especially in the first rounds. This Practitioner payed the price for applying that logic, instead of being "afraid of kicks".

  • you caught him right on the liver, that hurts like hell

  • It was a body shot from a spinning back kick that ended the fight, I think Tahlon tried to make it look like a groin strike.I have respect for anyone who has the balls to get in the ring win or lose.

  • Hey Kwon have you been ever bullied in school and kick their asses when you got pissed?

  • you win in the turner???

  • ha, Congratulations.!, nice man!!.;). I love your back kicks, they are very fast and perceful. And Judge of not bad you has pushed away, its very funny sytuacion.;)

  • i'm never getting tired of watching this, is so genious, although i realized that you didn't used punches in the fight, i guess is because you're tkd fighter

  • how heigh you are ?

  • Damn the guy was fighting was alot more aggressive than that your lucky lol

  • @kwonkicker ohhh i see it nice shot nice shot

  • finally!!!!!!

  • congrats, nice match

  • I liked it when he bowed at the last part. A true Taekwondo Warrior

  • Nice Micah you showed him respect to begin with to attempt a high five the took him apart thumbs up for that

  • how do you get KO'd with a kick do the body - was it to a specific part like the liver or something?

but yeah noone messes with Kwonkicker ;)

  • @hunter48129 it was straight to the liver. a hit causes strong pain, as it is visible. he had to quit fighting because of the intensity of pain.

  • Haha I love how Micah(Kwonkicker) tried to give the Thai guy a high five. So the knockout is payback.

  • Very nice

  • I love how your kicks are way faster and sharper than his :)

  • i just started kickboxing a few months ago. nice kick and it's nice to watch fights when you know exactly what is happening there

  • funny how you tried a judo throw when you guys clinched! MMA must be next on the agenda?

  • go knowkicker!!!!

  • Dennis Siver style finish FTW! XD Nice dude, I thot the ref was gonna get kicked in the face at 1:41 lol

  • Great fight!

  • sup kwonkicker :) i do TKD in South Africa and i came across ur channel :) i love ur vids and ur technique is amazing :) im a 3rd gup red stripe and im still trying to get close to being as good as i've seen the TKD world....i just wanted to say ur vids give me alot of insite on my own technique and training :) so keep the vids coming and hopefully one day i hope to meet u on the world stage :)

  • Wow you completely countered him

  • @kwonkicker so it hasnt got a specific reason...like ...making the Fighters stronger in physical way. Its just tradition

  • throwing a spining back kick to the head would not be as effective? but tHAT WAS BEAUTIFUL MOVE

  • nice kicks ^^ i like your 2 kick on head

  • Most impressive about this video was how you remained humble after the knockout... freakin' ufc fighters boasting, doin' back flips, laughing in their opp. face especially after a brutal knockout

  • @Malignantspiritify not all of them do that! and most of the time its the rush of victory or having won that they do that!

  • @EATMAN888 Yes well, our Hero here composed himself nicely... After he tried to pound the guy while he was down :D

  • Good job Tim! Get ready for the next round! SEARCH AND DESTROY! DESTROY THE OBJECTIVE!

  • how can any1 dislike this?

  • I notice you do the same four sided bow as Anderson Silva. Thats pretty cool.

  • unexpected, powerful, accurate! simply awesome! i myself am not good with kicks jiu-jitsu is my sport but i'd sure love to broaden my scope. love the kicks man!

  • Haha, nice move, cool!

  • very good

  • hey, nice kicks, i practice Karate and try different forms of martial arts. but alas there is no scope in india.i wolud really like to train with the best

  • LIVER SHOT !!!

    Cracking well done.

  • wow, very nice back kick.......KO!!!

  • wow man i wanna be like you

i am a boxer but like kickboxing and muay thai

but we dont have any good schools in my country

  • рефери конченный еблан мешается всю дорогу

  • What's the name of the song?

  • jajajaja, nice kick bro!!!

  • I've always known your spinning kicks were pretty good, but seeing it being applied so beautifully(or rather, painfully) is quite a sight.

  • OUCH.

  • Whats the reason of the Music ?? o_O

  • So now that you are back in the USA, are you going to continue fighting? If so, at what promotion?

  • wooooh liver shot!!

  • very nice!!!!!!!!

  • amazing finish! how do you exactly judge when to go for the spin back kick though? in a fight i mean.

  • @mesha001717 Same time as any other kick, timing and opportunity.

  • Damn that was sweet. He so didn't expect that kick, so awesome. It was really cool to follow your journey and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next on your agenda!

  • When he went on the floor you still wanted to kick his ASS!!! 2:04 LoL!! Happens to me too!!!

  • Good fight

  • You probly got him rite in the liver, instant down. I might have already asked you this before but i don't remember, what degree are you? I'm first degree black belt and I'm thinking of starting back.

  • @SlayerBG93 I think he knows that mister wise-man

  • @LvKingsfield actualy very few people know just how dangerous martial arts are

they just block becouse it hurts or becouse the sensei told them but in reality if a well placed unblocked kick hits you you could die

  • 2:03 SIT YO MOTHAFUCKIN AZZ DOWN BITCH!!!

  • It's good to see you fight for real. Too bad your opponent was a little douchy in the start not touching gloves though :/

  • even better in hd! WHOOOT GO KWONKICKER THE MASTER!

  • Congrats man

  • awesome kick!

  • waow nice hook ;) btw: didnt ur chins hurt ;)

  • nicee

  • Nice one dude! Have been following your videos for a while and it´s great to see you finally started to get your goals. Keep the dream alive!

  • To low for ribs, maybe hip and liver. It can be a nasty shock to the ball and joint of the femur. But yeah down like a sack of potatoes

  • Nice Job!

  • Niceeee!

  • YEAH KWONKICKER !!

  • Nice job with the shot to the liver. As one martial artist to another, why don't you use your speed more? Your small and quick. Block and kick with the same leg as your opponent. They seem to really drop guard when they kick. Or sweep, are those allowed in Muay Thai? There were good chances when he missed.

  • @Hydra26 I think he was just kinda taking it slow for the first round. It's usually more of a feeling-out round in muay thai bouts, with choice shots.

  • nice ap chagui at 1:02

  • Right to the liver! Well done, man.

  • How come you stayed grounded when you threw your back kick instead of hopping, like most WTF players? Is it because you threw it Offensively instead of as a counter?

  • @4NEBODY u normally hop when you use the back kick for a counter in order to move backwards whilst kicking normally you stay grounded otherwise

  • @JaxxDaemon someones 11 years old... grow up.

  • Finnishing kick didn't even got the center of his body, yet he's down, defeated. Damn, that was a strong one!

  • @ve0991lja I think he went down because it didn't hit his center. :) It his his liver and his ribs, which hurts much worse.

  • @ruebuscm Well guess you're right. I mean look at the dude! He's like ''Ohh,the pain! Call the ambulance!''

    Just keed,VERY good match. Kwon,you're da MAN,man =)

  • ouch

  • pacquiao prays before and after every fight...

  • 0:59 WHATCHU WANT HUH? :D

  • Kwonkicker you are the MAN! I was wondering, I saw you both checking a lot of kicks. How do you avoid injury when your shin or the top of your foot contacts their knee or shin? Have you just broken the nerves down and calcified the bone to the point where your leg is a baseball bat or do you still experience injury, particularly to the top of your foot? Thanks a ton! It's a problem I've been having even just in sparring and sometimes it keeps me from training or even exercise for a few days.
