I know this is old...but I'd say Gootecks did the right thing having Tom as the "MK consultant"; IIRC, Tom's also an accomplished 3d fighter enthusiast (DOA? Correct me if I'm wrong), hence terms like "special mid" will ring a bell for DOA/Tekken players but not to 2d fighters like SF/KOF. :)
