  • I bet my brother $10,000 all the time. I make less than that a year. Maybe I'm out of touch too?

  • Yea he should have said one dollar so more people can relate to him. Romney can take his money and just enjoy life but he actually wants to do some good and serve. People care so much about this who care. Just say say a cheeseburger next time Romney so that fox news guy wont be so upset next time.

  • They are ALL crooks. Dems and Repubs. The saying, "it's only illegal if you get caught" applies to them all. Your are right though. I'm mostly a Republican (as relates to Presidential elections), but none of them are worth the time, including Obama. We need someone who can really take on some tough times. To be honest, I'd rather have someone who can get something done even if he/she has screwed up his/her private life.

  • Serously, Ron Paul is the man! Fuck the rest on either side. Theyre all the same! Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • Romney has like 17% of people in polls that like him?? How is it possible - do they know that the man thinks Jesus came to America after he died? How to even think nut job like that could elected??? Honestly - I really do not understand why this is not being talked about more. Ask him what happened too all those gold tablets if he believes in Joseph Smith - it is a joke - he has to drop out

  • @Ramones1234100 wow you actually beleve hes doining that??

  • Romney apparently wipes his ass with $10,000 dollars, proves he is not like us.

Ron Paul plans to reduce his own presidential salary from $400,000 to $39,336 – the median salary of an American worker, to be more like us.

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • he was trying to prove a point that he was so sure he was correct he would bet a large amount of money, im sure its not all this bullshit there talking about, god i hate talk shows...

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • Mitt is the man!

  • what? i say bet $10,000 all the time

  • VOTE FOR CTHULHU! at least he is a republican that admits he is evil.

  • And with that, the GOP has officially lost,

Bachmann shows her lack of intelligence

Cain suspends his campaign for sex offender accusations

    Perry releases an anti-gay ad

    Gingrich shows his lobbyisticness

and finally, Romney shows his disconnection with the American people.

Hey Obama, whenever you wanna take down these assholes is fine with me

  • @theredm35 Agree.

  • @theredm35 but can he grow a spine by then he needs to be more aggressive

  • Like if The Will of DC send you here.

  • Faux News saying their “fair and balanced” does not make them so, any more than saying vroom vroom makes you a car.

  • I don't think I could ever vote for a republican

  • It's not just the "Liberal media" there are clips from fox about this, and I heard about on Conservative radio today, it was in really poor taste.

  • For perry not to call him on a "bluff" already tells you that he is a weak person. When was the last time you watched the Poker world series and the gamblers all said, "oh 5 dollars is enough"..

  • Anyone who is seriously making a big deal out of this is a moron. It was obviously a joke. The liberal left is grasping at straws here to make a big deal out of nothing. You should be embarrassed.

  • They ALL think like this. I believe it was dick cheney who said 5 million dollars is "chump change." Yes there is indeed a class war going on, but the rich started it.

  • Mitt Romney is rich... Rabble, rabble, rabble!

He's too rich, we need someone who can fix the economy; not someone who got rich in the economy!

    Say what?!

  • Of Course MSNBC would jump on this. The Iowans never heard of this is because they are Country Bumpkins.

  • Isn't he Mormon? Isn't it illegal to gamble, or bet?

  • i guess this means he's for legalizing online poker, he's got my vote.

  • The GOP voted 100% for the RYAN PLAN which eliminates Medicare and would deduct $800 a month out of the average $1,000 a month social security check leaving grandma about $200 a month for rent, food, utilities and medicine.

How CAN ANYONE EVER vote for ANY GOP candidate again in their entire lifetime after an outrage like this???

It's the same as throwing your grandma and grandpa into a HOMELESS SHELTER!

    FU -GOP!!!

I will NEVER vote for ANYONE that has GOP near their name!

  • Are Mormons allowed to gamble?

  • This criticism would sting a lot more if regular people were making the point instead of millionaire TV jerks. And for God sakes, stop mentioning Twitter.

  • You guys seriously think Romney was serious about the bet? It was a joke, and he was trying to make a point to show his confidence that he was right. How many of you have ever said, "I bet you a million dollars" when you were sure that you were right in an argument?

  • @TheOneAndOnlyJoshman a better bet was on who drops out the race lol... now that would be confidence

  • @willmartinapj haha, true that.

  • I bet you $10.00 (and only $10.00, I am a normal person after all) that this comment sinks his campaign

  • Slowly but surely, Ron, Paul, inches, his, way, up. Mitt v Mitt :D

  • Mitt Romney later said "doesn't EVERYBODY have $10,000 just lying around, like in the back of their limo?"

  • Okay, but what does this have to do with Romney's policies?

  • Yeah, when normal people ask millionares to pay a more fair share in taxes Fox calls it "Class warefare," but God forbid it when someone slightly more liberal and much more rich than them spends some money then it's an OUTRAGE.

  • Mittens comment is the definition of douchey.

  • if this is all you liberals have to talk about to make romney seem like a bad candidate then you guys are really need to get a life

  • @dirtymikeandtheboys1 As a liberal I could give a shit about this.

  • @dirtymikeandtheboys1 If all you conservatives have to talk about how everything is Obama's fault, then you guys really need to get a life.

FACT: All of the Republican candidates are terrible and none of them should be President.

    Perry: Bigot

    Gingrich: Pro Child Labor, Lobbyist.

    Bachmann: Really really ignorant.

    Cain: Sex offender

    Romney: Flip-flop, lobbyist.

  • @spartanmstrEB You must have no clue who Ron Paul is.

  • @spartanmstrEB

I noticed you didn't mention Ron Paul on that list! That's because he's the only person acting like a civil, intelligent, adult!

  • @spartanmstrEB You forgot about Paul: Honest, intelligent, dedicated, libertarian.

  • @spartanmstrEB You're absolutely right about all the candidates you listed but you forgot one...Ron Paul. He's THE only good choice. Ron Paul 2012!!!!!

  • @jennklegate Amen!

  • @spartanmstrEB what about john huntsman/ron paul

  • @spartanmstrEB good thing i live in canada...

  • @spartanmstrEB And Ron Paul?

  • @spartanmstrEB I love how the only one he has nothing on is Ron Paul.

  • @spartanmstrEB Ron Paul: Consistent.

  • @spartanmstrEB What about ron paul?

  • @spartanmstrEB You failed to mention Ron Paul, the only one who should be president. It's not about parties, it's about people. Obama is not a good president, plain and clear.

  • @Tomohawwwk how much $ do you make to be spraying filth like that?

  • Romney was emphatically right over their argument. 100%. Perry was lying out loud to Romney, hoping people wouldn't read the quote from Romney's book over the issue. Betting 10k ONLY shows that Romney was confident he was right. Had Perry accepted the bet, Romney would have just doubled his money. when the bet is based on WHAT A TEXT OF A BOOK SAYS OR DOESN'T SAY, AND YOU'RE THE AUTHOR, BETTING 10K JUST SHOWS YOU'RE CONFIDENT YOURE RIGHT. its wasn't a slot machine you scum bags!

  • @glycoboy sorry...wrong. The original hardback printing did say that "We can accomplish the same thing for everyone in the country" in reference to the Massachusetts healthcare mandate. The line was dropped in the softcover printing.

  • @muslhed1 That was in reference to a state-by-state basis. He didn't mean that the nation should adopt the Massachusetts plan. Do some research on fact checker websites and you'll see that I'm right.

  • @TheOneAndOnlyJoshman I did just that, and in context i must say that it appears you are right and I was wrong. The line was there but in context appears to be an appeal to other governors to follow Mass's model, not for the federal government to enact a one-size-fits-all model for the whole country. Thanks!

  • @muslhed1 Thanks for being open minded and being willing to actually look it up - most people are too stubborn to do that

  • @muslhed1 sorry, but you're wrong. the original line was referring to the goals of the Massachusetts health reform, that insurance be "portable" and "affordable," and not the individual mandate or the entire law.

  • @supertankinator after a bit more research you are correct and I am wrong. I'm still anything but a fan of Romneycare but the quote in context is exactly as you said. Thanks!

  • Once again proving Republicans care nothing for the average citizen. This election will be the Incompetent (Obama) vs Corporate bought (insert any Republican candidate but Paul). It's sad.

  • Well, typical Corporate, born into priveledge Republicon! Looks as if Romney has money to piss away while the rest of us struggle to pay bills and put food on the table.

  • ~~RON PAUL-2012-RESTORE AMERICA NOW~~

End the Federal Reserve--End the IRS and income tax--Withdraw ALL troops immediately--Cut $1T in spending year one--Eliminate five federal departments. Sound like REAL change that you want? Then vote Ron Paul for president.

    (Keep the chain going, people)

    ~~RON PAUL-2012-RESTORE AMERICA NOW~~
