Even though this film didn't get great reviews, I still think it's a decent film. Sean Bean makes the movie altogether. He's a great actor and I think he plays the part perfectly. The things I would probably change is even though it's a horror film it would have been better not have so much blood and gore. This movie was probably the most violent and gory film I've seen. Another thing, is it would have been more convincing if Bean kept his Sheffield accent. But still a pretty decent film.
I have a funny story behind this song (Closer). I was 18 when I went to go see this film (which made me 5 when this song was released in 1994) and as soon as this song started playing in this scene, I was really astonished at the fact that this was a very known song because I assume I was the only one who has ever heard of it lol I didn't know NIN was that big of a band until this film started playing the song for this scene

Sean Bean as a villain isn't a new thing, in this one though, he had fun, the movie's nothing but Sean Bean killing shit for no reason. Though Rutger Hauer, now he was quite a lot better, so was the original, it had a more ethereal feel and better acting. This one was quite generic, if not fun though.
I wont lie this scene gave me like the biggest hardon when i first saw it...lol that black trans am mixed with closer by nine inch nails holy turtle shit i nearly jizzed myself and when the guy said you gotta be 5 finger fuckin me i nearly died with laughter
I haven't seen the original. But damn was this movie epic. Sean Bean was a very good murderer. Sophia Bush was smoking fine. And the death scenes were really brutal. Overall. Good Movie. Good actors. Good times.
This probably was the best scene from the movie. The song goes great to the high speed chase. Shooting the helicoptor out of the sky is a bit unbelievable, but this was a really cool scene in the movie. Closer is a great song anyhow. If you've never seen the video for this song, I recommend watching it as it is very original and cool like the song.

@Avatar7811 I have to agree, Sean Bean is defenitly a better Killer, and the cars were great an olds 442 and a trans am. But the main guy and girl can't act well in this one.

Sean Bean as a villain isn't a new thing, in this one though, he had fun, the movie's nothing but Sean Bean killing shit for no reason. Though Rutger Hauer, now he was quite a lot better, so was the original, it had a more ethereal feel and better acting. This one was quite generic, if not fun though.

I wont lie this scene gave me like the biggest hardon when i first saw it...lol that black trans am mixed with closer by nine inch nails holy turtle shit i nearly jizzed myself and when the guy said you gotta be 5 finger fuckin me i nearly died with laughter

I haven't seen the original. But damn was this movie epic. Sean Bean was a very good murderer. Sophia Bush was smoking fine. And the death scenes were really brutal. Overall. Good Movie. Good actors. Good times.

The song is called "Closer" from Nine Inch Nails.
This probably was the best scene from the movie. The song goes great to the high speed chase. Shooting the helicoptor out of the sky is a bit unbelievable, but this was a really cool scene in the movie. Closer is a great song anyhow. If you've never seen the video for this song, I recommend watching it as it is very original and cool like the song.
