  • What were some other cars your times compared to on this run? If you still remember.

  • hands down my favorite mercedes even by today's models (aside from the C36 which I have :) ). impressive driving and really amazed at how composed and quiet this car is! a true executive autobahn stormer.

  • My dad lets me drive his 400E, I've been saving a lot of money to buy myself a 500E =D

  • How about we all ask Mercedes-Benz to make this car again.? The exact same one. I would trade my w211 E500 in a heart bit.

  • that was nice :)

  • skillz!

  • I have an E39 540i and it's great, but it's disposable compared to the 500E...

  • That driving was excellent!

  • jesus MAN how many cones did u hit GOD DAM u rock !

  • wah the pickup is so powerful!!!

  • In this run, NO CONES!

  • @M104AMG excellent driving buddy, that is making me miss my merc,ps u have got some skills driving a big car like that!

  • what a super driving.....and one great car

  • very nice

  • nice i really want to race my e320 in my local scca

  • nice one :D

  • Stock suspension?

Body roll doesn't seem as bad as people say...

  • What are you talking about? The 500E was one of the best handling cars of it`s class back in the days. Porsche did one hell of a job making this car.

  • that is true. porsche did the suspension.

  • is it easy at the limit,i havent driven one.i heard the car was handbuilt by porsche on a special assembly line.

  • and yes, it was built by porsche. these will be gaining value and are already a collectors car. they are truely amazing.

  • Question: are 5 point harnesses a suitable airbag replacement?

    DO they work as well/better/worse?

  • they do provide excellent restraint from forces encountered during a collision and provide a more solid restraint to the seat when the car is undergoing shifting forces but...

the stock 3 point harness provides body movement in extreme accidents such as a roll-over where if the roof of the car were to cave in, the body has someplace to move to. with a 5 point without a roll cage=dead. this has happened many times before where people simply get the harness but dont invest in a proper roll cage.

  • SO basically, if you go 5 point, you want to go with a rollcage. They work together.

  • as far as safety is concerned its like bread and butter

  • Niceeeeee

  • nice

  • very nice driving

  • great skill, well done

  • nieźle daje tą pięćsetą,ale bardziej widziałbym ją na torze wyścigowym niż w ciasnych zakrętach--to w końcu Mercedes w124 a nie jakiś plastik....

  • Not bad at all, not bad at all. You can hear that open differential driving power to the 'empty' wheel, but you held it in there very tight and kept a very aggressive line. Good Job!

  • Nicely done.
