  • sounds sick

  • Good work dude most people eat shit.after a spin good control

  • LOL shit cunt

  • ss ute hill climb wet...crazy

  • "morwell" hillclimb, where is that? i live in a town called morwell.. hahah in victoria, never heard of this though, someone tell me if its actually around the town morwell or if its a place they called that.. haha

but sweet vy mate, looks and sounds beeast

  • @SirZnHy Yeah mate, the same Morwell you're from. The track is gone now, but if you drive along Latrobe road out towards Thompsons bridge near the Yallourn North and Tyres intersection, it's where the open cut now is.....Directly opposite those dirt tracks in the pines along there. The new track is up at Haunted Hills (Near Newbourgh) next to the motorcross track on coach road.

  • @19escort73 oh crap! never knew that! so whats there in its place now?

  • @SirZnHy Open cut is now there mate. They've covered over it like it never existed....... They wanted to use the Gippsland Car Club track to extend the mine closer to Latrobe Road, so they made a deal that if they built us a bigger and better track, they could have the land where this track was. That's why were now up at Haunted Hills.

  • @19escort73 hey mate, do you know if they ever have days at haunted hills that you can take your street car for a burn around the track?

  • @gumbyrider450 I think you can hire the track privately, but I'm not 100% sure. I can follow it up, if you like. My advice would be to get maybe a group of mates and split the hire fee, so it doesn't sting as much in the pocket. My old mans a board member and he said it's something like $110 for a non club member, but that's just going off the top of his head.

  • That track just looks slipery because that car is not made to drive fast on race tracks. Put an EVo , GTR or WRX on the track and then see if it looks slipery.

  • V8 brUTE

  • That dude can drive!

  • good job man!

very few people know how to control a car when they spin out

  • omg that track looks slippery well done for control :D

  • noticed he powered down when he lost control. instead of panicinn and slaming the brakes. he's done this before.

  • good driving considering so much power and no weight on the rear wheels

  • that was sweet

  • Good save!

  • thats sweet nice work dude

  • haha that was an awesome spin, even though he wasnt meant to do it, it still looked cool

  • that was sick awsum driving

  • fuck yeh get some more vids up that was sweet!

  • lol the spin was so smooth :D

  • Have you ever driven on that track may I ask?

  • lol i thought he held it together pretty well

  • @higgart

I guess you've never made one mistake in your life?

On wet tracks there's always slippery and grippy bits depending on where the water is sitting....

Even if the best driver in the world hits an oily corner he didn't expect he will probably lose it.

But you probably wouldn't ever get to the edge of grip in your mum's hyundai so you wouldn't understand

  • @higgart its wet douche bad. very easy to slide out in a V8 with touch acceleration

  • nice you kept that pretty neat even when you lost it

  • Comment removed

  • nice :)

  • you got some ball man

  • that is soo hot!!

  • that looks like so much fun.. :)

  • I tough the same thing lol

  • it looks great :p

  • i may sound like a oob , but plesae forgive me , is that a slammed s.u.v ?

  • This is a VY Holden Commodore ute. It's a G.M.C vehicle that is sold in Australia and New Zealand. This car shown in the vid is an SS (Super Sport) version. In other words it's a high peformance road registered ute.

  • @19escort73 bahahahahahahaha High performance my ass. They suck nuts.

  • and in regards to your question about it being slammed, it's not. Like I said, these are a high performance ute available to the public, so the body kit and everything would have came standard with the car. If you're familiar with the new model pontiac G.T.O, then to cut a long story short, this is basically a pick up truck version of that. The new G.T.O is known as the Holden Monaro out here in Australia.

  • I thought and was told the SS stood for Six speed

Or it did for the VS SS

  • nah man always been super sport

  • @19escort73 not to disrespect sounds a bit overkill calling it a high performance ute avaliable to the public... v8 ss utes sedans etc has always been "available " as it were.

  • that was fucking awsome

  • THats pretty cool m8

Why are you slipping so much? Were your tires bald or is the ute really that lacking in grip because of the light back end?

How does it compare to the sedan for grip?

I diddnt even see the back end twitch it just spun

  • I wasn't driving that ute. He's just a bloke I usually compete against. That track used to be really slippery when it was in use. It didn't matter what car you drove, it was just like driving on ice. Usually when it rained up there, people used to deliberately slide around corners like that, just for fun. I'd say that's what he was doing and just kind of over cooked it in the process. It doesn't take much to spin out in those conditions especially in a ute that has really good power to weight

  • Cheers mate

I hate losing grip but if that was his aim he'd have had a shit load of fun there

    Looks like fun

  • @mfl1992 Its raining Mate thats why its spinning. Would not have the power to if it were dry HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • fuk that

    good effort

  • that first corner was a good effort, he caught it, then kept the car settled & composed into the first hairpin

i must drive that track, where is it? and don't say morwell! im from WA...

  • I wish you luck driving it, because it's now a huge black hole, lol. Sorry to say mate but the track was closed down in april last year and is now a coal mine. The local power station wanted the land and our track was right in their path. So they made a deal with our car club where they could take over our old track in exchange for a brand new bigger and better track.

  • Sorry I forgot about your question. Yeah the track was located in Victoria. Our new track (Bryant Park), is not far away from this one. On November 1st and 2nd this year, one of the rounds of the "Australain Hillclimb Championship" will be hosted 2 the new track. We have alot of blokes from your way come out and compete in those events.

  • need a bit more practise there bud

  • aahah i hell saw a vz maloo crash he was don a burrnot hd no control ov da ca n smashed saigh intt ha wall

  • It shows what a shit track car this is

  • that was a pretty neat spin quite clean :P go holden!

  • fuk this cunts my idol

  • im dying to know the specs of that dual exhaust system. I want it on my new VZ, sounds sick as

  • I love how big holdens just bloody swing like mad :P

  • the 360 almost linked into the next turn haha

  • awesome stuff! I know this guy...he's a champion. love that ute aswell.. looks neat and clean and how they should be. keep it up

  • Yeah, when it rains at that track there is some spectacular driving there. Hopefully our new track is the same

  • fucking nice, loved the way he didn;t panic when he spun niceeee
