  • Is it expensive...getting a NPPL pilots licence is costly at about £3500...and oldish microlight like mine is around £3000,

    The legality of flying low are that you can fly as low as you want but must always be over 500ft away from any person animal or structure....so you do have to be careful....

  • Peter Sorry only just noticed your comment re the sound track....It does sound a bit like Chi Mai but its actually called Sleepy Shores by Johnny Pearson.....not quite as grand as Chi Mai.

  • Hi Tom yes the airfield I fly from at Ince Blundel on the Southport rd has a flying school and they do trail flights 30mins or 1 hour or longer if you like,

    Its very well run with modern aircraft both flexwing like mine but much faster or fixed wing,

    You not going to try it yourself, the have 2 flexwings you could fly side by side,
