they had never played together in front of people before. in the bands they were in previously yes. but not in BC.

I don't know about the lipsyncing thing. I've seen other videos on Youtube where the singing will differ from time to time, just from being a human singer instead of a recording that's been pitch corrected. And the screaming always sounds live to me...there's one video where the screaming has a sweet delay effect added and I reckon it really adds something.

I do wonder about the actual instruments though, like do they just sample and pretend they're playing? The keytarist looks like it?

1. They don't lipsync, they play all the syth music in the back and they have a human voice part on it and it's super high pitched. and the screaming DEFINITELY isn't synced

2. The only person who plays an instrument is Josh Andrews and he does play it live cuz he stopped playing it at a show and jumped into the crowd!

well to add to all the mess of comments...this is one of their first shows. lifespot is a tight little venue. they were a lot more on key earlier. my band opened for them at one of their first shows. they definitly sing live and scream live. they use two mac computers and have loops recorded for some instruments and some back up vocals. it is a sick show though.

they DO sing live but there sound overlay is more enhanced, notice the screamer sings different and more out of breathe, and they just have a voice overlay, becuase it is techno.

well i was chilling with them when they rehearsed for this show, and they can sing just as well as they do on the tracks. the reason they need the track is because they have multiple vocal tracks, and cant sing all of them at once.
