there is a problem with my n900 while taking pictures and recording videos ! i have to restart the phone every time to click an image .. once i capture it , it stays fixed to that image and does not go back to the camera mode ! also there is no sign of the captured image in any of the folders !! as for the video , the recording does not even start in video mode,, just as i click on rec button .. it getrs stuck , hangs ! please help as i really need to sort this out !!

N97 has fitness apps. They are free, unlike the ones for iPhone. And yes, it´s 3.5mm jack. And yes, I do not want a capasitive phone after seeing how responsive they can be + the accuracy is kickass.

Apps are good on iphone but that does not mean that other companies are working on their own apps like nokia and their OVI store.

I don't even know why Apple got out the 3GS, its just a money waster cos all they added is a faster processor on it thats all.

It still has a crappy 3mp camera, no front camera, bluetooth is terrible (you can't even send files to other phones), you cannot multi task (something that all smartphones should have), I can go on and on but there not point.

Now onto N900,

It has 5mp camera (iphone 3GS does not), FM transmitter (iphone 3GS does not), front camers (iphone 3GS does not), decent bluetooth (iphone 3GS bluetooth is rubbish), + MULTI TASKING (iphone 3GS does not).

Whats the point of a smartphone if it does not even have multi tasking? isn't that like any other phone?

You can argue to say that iphone is maybe better than the N97 in terms of software but not the N900.

The N900 software runs on linux, which means its future proof.

I tested my N97 5mp camera against the 3mp camera on the 3GS and to be honest I showed it to a friend who's a photographer, he said that the N97's looks much better, oh and by the way he's an Apple fan and has an iphone.

Again how can u tell about the software of the iphone if its better than the Nokia Mamo? U have not used it

Multi tasking is one of the features that makes a smartphone, today I was chatting on my N97 using Nimbuzz, and I was surfing the net, plus I could have listened to music and talked at the same time, yeah they can listen to the music if they wanted to but I can turn the volume down.

Apple only know one thing, to make money and suckers like you buy crappy devices from Apple like the iphone.

OVI store just started and its still in its infancy, you will see when they have more developers work on apps they will be much more bigger than Appstore from Apple.

Its not all about software, you need hardware to run software and vice versa.

Nokia were making phones before Apple ever thought about it.

Yep phone function works in portrait. Developers can choce if they make their applications work in portrait too. It needs some more work so not all application won't work in portrait.
