man this book really showed the evilness on zamorak, the book shows more than the game of how saradomin is the god of wisedom and zamorak is evil and causes chaos

the reason the books unrealistic to the runescape world is because they tried to make it realistic to the real world and really the world wouldnt be so small...it would take a while to get to place to place,and an adamant sword would be considered good...have you ever seen an average npc wielding anything better than steel? and zamorak is not the god of evil,but chaos and saradomin the god of order,and guthix is the god of balance...that should cover most of the questions people have asked.

Runescape has a very detailed history almost like it's real, also you get to know the sory more as you complete quests, they could really develop and create more in books

The book really doesn't rely on the game to make it good; you don't even have to play RuneScape to be able to enjoy and understand it. Maybe if people would stop immediately dismissing this novel as a lame book about a game, they'd read it and actually enjoy it.

Yeah, I understand. Gilenor is SUCH a great place to set a novel... As long as they have took a step away from the "Childish" aspects of it and concetrate on deeper story lines and intresting characters.

So yeah, as long as it is based on a good story and not Runescape its self then I'm sure it's very good. I just don't want to read something thats for kiddies.

It's obvious that they cannot use Dragon is because the only way to obtain it is from other players, monsters, that level 36 knights probably cannot beat or in Zanaris, and I don't think they would have access to tip it or rune hq to figure out how to do Lost City.

i got the book today, and i read 50 ogs and kinda skiped to the last batttle part it said the mage was kasting fire spells on the black knight and that the bls skin was blisterning and he wsa teraing at his helm and he juts went down. and how kara was be heading a dying bl. and she was triping em and stabing them. and how she flung her sword accross and sliced a black knight grunts neck. and it said right here in the book, a kinshra warrior of the same age grabed awound while kara kiled him.:0

No, I don't like the lores - Just saying but it's making up a past that tries to fit in with the present. My kind of book would be about the future, say if you read the book it has hidden glimpses at future updates. Maybe a grand exchange in falador or something. I think falador is a great setting for a book though.

I would say that it has a somewhat sophisticated vocabulary, but nothing that a high schooler shouldn't understand. I think the vocabulary adds to the book and are used to create vivid images.
