dana this is menke....you should make a penalty for backing out of the ring to much. Naga doesn't have one and people run out of the ring like crazy as soon as they score 2

I also noticed that what appeared to be stalling or running. I don't know the perspective of the referee, Anthony Carlson, as of this posting. I plan on discussing this match at our next Referee Clinic. I will say IBJJF rules do appear to address the situation.

I will say that the video footage and highlighting our referees (by nameing them) will make them accountable to public scrutiny, which is my intent.
