@1100HondaCB i live here in andover and well its not great it has a bad rep for drugs and fights and there are quite a few pubs n stripclubs but not tht many clubs the nightlife would consist mostly of drunken underage chavs staggering about lol

Don't worry, when you're old enough to use the English language correctly, you'll realise there's a perfectly functioning Train Station in town that provides rapid escape from the place. Save up all your pocket money and bugger off now, it'll be great.
@eptvcouk but its 72 miles from london and 42 from legoland and about 30 to paultons and chessington is close but not really close its around 40-70 miles from there i live in andover and its great ...shame its so unknown. but i have seen someone famouse well kinda famouse hes from andover sound i saw him when andover lights turned on and there was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggge firework it was the biggest i saw in my life i was watching from home i could still see it.

Andover is not bad, but its not good either. It is a place where you choose to live if you have no real objectives. If you want a simple job, a simple life with a small salary then Andover is just for you.

i'm not questioning the price of housing, Although that is also an issue. I am questioning the availibility of housing when there are so many people migrating to this country and not enough houses beeing built to cope with it all.

The inflated increase in the cost of housing isn't due to imigrants, it is due to the banks and shareholders wanting to focus on 'profit' rather then 'value'.
To blame the imigrant population is like trying to blame the blue sky for the grass being green, it doesn't work.
Look at the banks and their profiteering before you look at outsiders.
Were you, by any chance migrated into Andover during the massive redevelopment for the "London Overspill" when they emptied the slums and dumped them on to a small historic market town (which they flattened in the process, by the way), or have you 'people' running back more then four generations in Andover - either way take your bigoted views elsewhere... Or, come back with a grounded arguement as to what defines what being English actually, really means is...

my family haved been in andover for 6+ generations and a long time ago they donated a window to the church but it got nocked down and it is now in the methodist church across the road from the magic round about

The planned monstrosity of the Tescos distribution warehouse will be computer controlled and managed, just like the others around the Tescos network, so there wont be that mant jobs anyway - and with the long-term low unemployment levels in Andover, companies for many years have been having to migrate workers - which means "to bring form another place" and not neccessarily from another country.
i thank you for taking the time to improve my opinions on such matters. however, i don't think i am at all wrong for worrying about the housing issue and the poorly controlled level of migration of people to this country. didn't mean to sound racist!
All for the sudden influx of polish and other europeans? Who upon entering the country will take the oppertunity to work in such a place where they can earn as much money in a day as they would normally in a week in their own country, and while doing so decrease the amount of housing available to people who are actually from this country!!
