Elnino forcast for this upcoming winter, so lets pray that it will be much better than last one. I'll settle for a regular SSI winter. Last Dec. 2008 was over the top!!
When you are ready to do one on SSI Palms and tropical plants let me know. I can tell you where the tallest palms and Bananas grow. The other day I was checking out a massive Banana clump on Margarate Ave., just off of Monteith Rd. you can't miss it. I'll check out your other winter vid. Cheers
I live on SSI and this is a great vid. I remember this snowfall well. Here on the very north end of the Rock we had 15 cm (6"inches) and a low temp. of -0.3 C. When is someone going to put some of the Salt Spring Island Palm trees on You Tube? I'm getting chilly just watching this.
The Palm trees will be next, this summer was so nice compared to last year's disaster. Hope I don't have to film another rare white winter in 2008-09, lol.
From what I recall, there is a prompt link somewhere in the policy text during the upload process or you might attempt to upload something too big - then get a prompt link. Try looking at your account profile, there might be a link there for applying also.
If you apply to become a director, you can upload files larger than 100MB and longer than 10 minutes. The CH Debate is almost two hours. Since Google bought YouTube, the uploading time and video quality is super great. In the old days, uploading in general was painful and anything approaching 100MB seemed to crash for me before fully uploading. Some Tubers choose alternate titles instead of "director." Hope this answers your question. :)

Hi, first thing: Being a director won't upload it faster. Best thing is faster computer and high speed internet too.
