I'm well aware of the jazz community appreciating Patty...However, as a part of that community myself...the jazz community can be quite "narrow thinking" at times...sorta like preaching to the choir! Just a thought!

Patty's is so underated and somewhat ignored...Mostly because she's not a screamer/shouter blow you over kind of vocalist...she draws you in with her shear beauty and depth to her voice...much like Abby Lincoln.
