This is brilliant! I wouldn't say the solo is EXACTLY right but it was still good! 5 stars! (If rating wasn't disabled LOL). If you want to here the original solo by Timmy C clearly if you've got Guitar Hero 3 you could just play Bulls on Parade but turn the guitar volume down :D BTW I've got a vid with Tims best bass riffs from RATM if you want to have a look ;) thanks
ya i agree u should made a video on how u did that solo it would be a great help, im trying to learn the song now but am getting confused on the solo part.
i had one up but took it down after carefully listening to the song and realizing what I was playing wasn't 100% correct. I'll learn it today and post it sometime this week.
Oh and did you sell this to get the Sterling or did you have the Sterling, the MIM Jazz and the Modulus at at the same time? Thats a good chunk of change.
haha yea i'm rich. nah I sold my modulus so i could buy an electronic drum set and telecaster for recording purposes, and I still had 500 dollars left over so it was a good deal.
You got alot of money or something? Thos are some nice basses for someone whos been has only been playing like 1 1/2 years haha. But dont get me wrong, you're good dude. It makes me sad though, Ive been playing for almost 3 years and I still play the same bass I started with ahahaha.
I'm looking into a Jazz bass or a MM...Just for more sounds. I like slapping what is best for slapping and affordable? Jazz, Precision or stingray? The pickups is what I'm asking for actually because I'm crafty so I will build one right into my bass.
probably already got this answered but w/e. Precisions really dont have a good slap sound, or split coil pickups for that matter. Humbucking pickups have a very dry and sharp slap sound, and single coils like on a jazz can get a very even slap sound for lack of a better description. it really depends on what versatility you want. you can get more sounds out of a pair of single coils but if you just want a "slap/funk" bass then I would get humbucking stingray pickups
I just bought a geddy lee jazz bass to get rid of playing my pbass replica. Dont get a jazz bass mim, unless you get the badass bass 2 bridge. Those help alot.
cool song... but easy

I can play the whole song except the solo. I couldn't hear it well enough in the song to see how to play it. Nice job bro.

Me 2....Some Fender P-bass replica....
BUT Whenever I pick it up it feels like "home"

Why did you sell it? And how much did you get?
SirDukeSeb 3 years ago
I sold it cause the neck was too thick and I got a better deal on a musicman sterling. I got 1800 dollars though.
VulgarMongoose 3 years ago

megadunker42 3 years ago

VulgarMongoose 3 years ago
