  • cool song... but easy

  • I can play the whole song except the solo. I couldn't hear it well enough in the song to see how to play it. Nice job bro.

  • Lefty =] Lol, nice cover, I loved it =] I hope to learn this song myself.

  • he's not a lefty? haha

  • Umm... He's playing with his left hang...

  • owned

  • hey bad solo man wring solo man!!

on the second part of it and 3rd

  • such a flat sound for a fleabass

  • good job man...but honestly thats a really easy bassline...

  • oh yea definitely. not going to disagree with you there. I just liked the song.

  • who cares?

  • honestly dont come here to rip on someone dude...shits weak. nice cover man.

  • SOO FUCKIN AWESOME MAN, dude plz make more rage against the machine videos, awesome!!

  • This is brilliant! I wouldn't say the solo is EXACTLY right but it was still good! 5 stars! (If rating wasn't disabled LOL). If you want to here the original solo by Timmy C clearly if you've got Guitar Hero 3 you could just play Bulls on Parade but turn the guitar volume down :D BTW I've got a vid with Tims best bass riffs from RATM if you want to have a look ;) thanks

  • Dude what a coincidence i saw that video about a month ago and it was badass! Great job compiling those!

  • yeah, probably the simplest bass riff known to man.

  • Nah, there are some pretty simple ones. Not that this one is complicated.

  • ya i agree u should made a video on how u did that solo it would be a great help, im trying to learn the song now but am getting confused on the solo part.

  • u should do a lesson on the solo

tat would be the only one on youtube

  • i had one up but took it down after carefully listening to the song and realizing what I was playing wasn't 100% correct. I'll learn it today and post it sometime this week.

  • were did u get the tabs

  • don't use tabs

  • can u please tab it out because ive been looking for a good tab for the solo for ages!! plaz just the solo

  • NIce.Nice bass :)

  • Oh and did you sell this to get the Sterling or did you have the Sterling, the MIM Jazz and the Modulus at at the same time? Thats a good chunk of change.

  • haha yea i'm rich. nah I sold my modulus so i could buy an electronic drum set and telecaster for recording purposes, and I still had 500 dollars left over so it was a good deal.

  • You got alot of money or something? Thos are some nice basses for someone whos been has only been playing like 1 1/2 years haha. But dont get me wrong, you're good dude. It makes me sad though, Ive been playing for almost 3 years and I still play the same bass I started with ahahaha.

  • Me 2....Some Fender P-bass replica....

BUT Whenever I pick it up it feels like "home"

I'm looking into a Jazz bass or a MM...Just for more sounds. I like slapping what is best for slapping and affordable? Jazz, Precision or stingray? The pickups is what I'm asking for actually because I'm crafty so I will build one right into my bass.

  • probably already got this answered but w/e. Precisions really dont have a good slap sound, or split coil pickups for that matter. Humbucking pickups have a very dry and sharp slap sound, and single coils like on a jazz can get a very even slap sound for lack of a better description. it really depends on what versatility you want. you can get more sounds out of a pair of single coils but if you just want a "slap/funk" bass then I would get humbucking stingray pickups

  • I just bought a geddy lee jazz bass to get rid of playing my pbass replica. Dont get a jazz bass mim, unless you get the badass bass 2 bridge. Those help alot.

  • yea i have that on my MIM jazz and it sounds alot better

  • Why did you sell it? And how much did you get?

  • I sold it cause the neck was too thick and I got a better deal on a musicman sterling. I got 1800 dollars though.

  • Im getting tht bass! in black and ebony though. Nice job,

  • yea just sold mine. great bass but the neck is really fu*kin thick

  • really? i tried it i kinda liked it. i noticed it was noticeably bigger then the norm though.

  • is the neck thicker than a warwick double buck?

  • wouldn't know

  • yah, i love that bass i plan to get in to

  • great

  • woo very nice cover

    Rage huh? :]

    like your cover, gj :)
