i'm listening to all those classics in their original versions and then i listen to him and i have to say, my god, he is better. better than all of them. more emotion, more work, more discipline and all of this in spite of the short time he had on earth. or maybe rather because of that. gosh, so underrated
Every song this man performs he takes to a whole nother level. I watch him perform and am hypnotized by more coolness and talent than I've ever seen. Thank you God for giving him to us.....if only briefly.
CRY ME A RIVER was written by todd hamilton & originally released in 1953. i remember the bobby darin show fondly. he was such a genuine person, with great talent and a faulty ticker. so sad we lost him so young.
This man crosses the years with the same agility that he became the best at every genre of the entertainment world that he tried! Still gets it for me! Thank you for posting this! Still love everything he does!
just want to thank you for this wonderful recording of Bobby singing 'cry me a river'. I have the 'Julie London' version also. would you know what year Bobby sang this recording? thank u again.
This is brilliance... The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long...

Those changes of time signature are enough to give a singer whiplash, but the incomparable Bobby Darin handles them like an Olympic Gymnast!
Wow,what a talent.
So sad he's gone, but never to be forgotten.

Bobby had panache and style, besides possessing a great voice. He was like Sinatra with soul.
