Interesting to watch this years later. Cheney is still living his lie. Rumsfield is protected somehow, and has never paid for what he did to us during Viet Nam, let alone what he did to us in Iraq.
I am not surprised. And what really pisses me off is how tough these guys talk. And how willing they are to send the pawns off to die. . . . and the pawns say, "sir, yes sir, you are my commander and chief". Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeled, Wolfie my Annie (Coulter) and all lthe other assholes love to talk about winning as long as it is someone else's blood.
Bush will pardon him anyway. Cheney sort of looks like Grandpa from the Munsters in that picture. I have actually heard one guy say Cheney is a good guy. That was Bill Wattenburg. As much as I like Bill's show, that I can disagree with.
After the time Cheney shot that guy I heard an interview with one of Dick's old friends from his home state. I wish I could remember his name. He said that Dick was a good guy, but that now he had changed. They were no longer friends. I think he succumbed to the dark side.
I've read several periodicals and books that confirm what you say here...that Cheney "was" a good guy but that now his "friends" don't even know him anymore. Don't be fooled...ole "5 deferrment" Dick has been evil from day one.
Read a book titled 'Rise of the Vulcans" (that's what these neoclowns like to call themselves). it details how Cheney/Rumsfeld have been together for over 40 years scamming the US. One gets back into government and he ALWAYS brings the other back on board. While they're in government, they're starting wars that profit defense contractors (and themselves) they worked for when not in government.
I have heard the term vulcan when refering to neo-cons. yeah these guys have an agenda. they are so secretive. The REALLY SCARY part is that they believe history will call them heroes. That they are the only ones that know best and they will by hook or by crook get their way.
Also...did you know that when ole "5 deferrment" Dick found out that his 4th and final deferrment was to end, the only remaining deferrment he would be entitled to would be the fatherhood deferrment. Nine months later TO THE DAY, his first daughter was born. FACT.
