  • "money slept like a nightgown"

don't get it. someone explain please?

  • @OwnersInc" money" is a slang term for an individual - "slept like a nightgown" is, of course ,just a simile he used creatively to make the rhyme fit

  • @OwnersInc pretty self explanitory i thought. dont think too much into it

  • @OwnersInc -dont get caught sleepin/slippin like Money.

  • @OwnersInc hahah im surprised your not familiar with the term "money" !! it is used to describe a person or another way to say an individual....like .."look at money over there" thats another way of saying" look at dude over there"...

  • what movie is that

  • @abdiwell121 sunset park

  • @tical2399 Premier is good an everything but in my opinion RZA is way better just look at their body of work .Rza may be in a "down period" experimenting but who knows on the other end of it he may come out even better or atleast evolving into something different. Plus Bobby Digital had some good beats and was a good album...the start of his "wierd " producttion.

  • what u smoking? this joint aint on ghostface's supreme clientelle album, it's on his ironman album!!! i love this track..it makes you wonder about life and family

  • wha!? c'mon son! its on Iron Man kid. Supreme came after,

  • 1996 i think

  • wat year did this come out

  • Is this from Sunset Park?

  • Yeah it was in that sountrack

  • Beat like this is what happens when Rza is not on the "experimental" shit and going strictly for throats. When Rza is focused he second only to Primo. But for the last few years he been off and on cause of he strange need to experiment too much.

  • @tical2399 When RZA is focused, he's second to NO ONE. Not even Premier...

  • @keeshawn123 Well thats up for debate. As much of a wu fan as I am, I think primo got em. But what is not up for debate is that Rza aint been focused for years now.

  • @tical2399 That is sadly true... Every now and then, RZA cooks up something marvelous, but the majority of it has been off.

  • @keeshawn123 I THINK PRIMO AND RZA ARE ON THE SAME LEVEL.BUT THEY HAVE DIFFERENT STYLES

  • @tical2399 : I gotta dissagree Homie! To me RZA & Primo both Generals in there own rite. On this Classic HipHop Vibe of beats. Jus like when it come to Rap beats n Pop Beatz. Dr.Dre & Timbo are both Generals aswell.!! But i do agree RZA needs to get back to this "Sick-Bomb-A-Nation" type shit when it comes to making classic Beatz. truMaster, Mathematics, an 9th Wonder are the last 3 carrying the torch from his Legacy of beat making!!

  • @tical2399 Rza's issue is whats affecting the entire rap industry: he can't sample/interpolate beats like he did back then. The equipment changed, thats for one, and two, you can get ur ass sued for using samples. Hence the use of "experimental" shit...that era of hip hop is gone, mostly.

  • @SuperGlaurung Rzas still making sope beats i guess you havent bought any wu cds lately.

  • @Smokinpurple86 dude...his recent stuff will never be what it was, and its not his fault, beatmaking has changed drastically; he's not making classics like '4th Chamber' or 'Criminology', simply cuz everythings mostly software...I should know, I make beats. You pretty much have to build something from scratch, AND have a workin knowledge of music theory...guys that are running it now are Boi-1da and Polow...facts.

  • @tical2399 Sometimes that experimenting kills. Check out RZA- Up Again

  • @tical2399 Rza still has it but he fucked up the 8diagrams album. When you experiment it helps people only get better and allows that person to come outta there comfort zone but i miss these piano notes and base and shit like that so i know what ya saying.

  • @Tonage4 Naw I dont know what you saying on this one, There's and old saying, "dance with the one who brought you" Rza got on top by making nasty gutter beats like this and that's what he needs to go back to making. Primo aint changed or experimented with his style at all. Every new primo joints sounds like its a promo joint you can recognize it instantly. You also notice primo never been accused of falling off, coincidence, I think not. Stick with what you do well and you wont fall off.

  • @tical2399 I hear ya dude you speak the truth man. you remind me of my uncle, you may not be saying this to the least but he said to me once ''that you shouldn't change what you are doing just because you are trying to make a different group of people happy, if you made a track 17 years ago (refering to nas illmatic) someone will always think that the thing you have created is amazing and you should only think about that one person because thats what music is about not to change because of fear.

  • @tical2399 yeah but thing is u forget that he got his style by experimenting - they musta said he was experimenting back in 93 yaknow? shit sounded like nothing else so did cuban linx and liquid swords . what makes wu-tang so fuckin good is they are original and have passion from sincerity its real and raw

  • @Bizdet Maybe that's the case, bur he found the right formula back then and he fucked it up by continuing to try new shit. Trying new shit for the sake of trying new shit =fail. The masses claim things are stale if they stay the same, if thats the case give me stale any day. Primo aint chaned his style at all since he came out really, and you know who real hip hop heads put at the top of the best producers? You guessed it Primo. Primo never changed and that's why he considered the best.

  • @tical2399 all rza shit is experimental.

  • @tical2399 That's cuz RZA ain't hood no more...he's doing clown roles as an extra on different movies. I think the yayo ruined his mind.

  • @ry27sm That's about as good an explanation as any. I don't know whats wrong with Rza these days but he need to get it together. That's partially why Ghost and Rae made Shaolin vs Wu-Tang cause they tired o his weak ass beats og the last few years. They want him (as do I) to go back to the pre 2000 style beats. If he want to continue making this experimental crap then turn over producing duties to 4th disciple or true master for all wu related albums and rza stick to scoring movies.

  • @ry27sm -- I think the yayo ruined your mom.

  • @tical2399 -- I going to jump in there and say Primo is second only to RZA? Ho?

  • @tical2399 What'd you think of the first Bobby Digital album? Like it at all?

  • @spideymayne Not really, Bobby Didigal in Stereo was pretty lame except for Holocaust.

  • @tical2399 NYC EVERYTHING + KISS OF THE BLACK WIDOW + LAB DRUNK + TERRORIST + FUCK WHAT YOU KNOW = N!!!!!CE

  • @tical2399 Premier will never be as creative as RZA, and I love Premier

  • @thehumanshin , sorry don't agree with that!

  • @sfknns Why dont you agree?

  • @thehumanshin , premier is just as creative as rza

  • @sfknns yes, I get that,, can you please explain how so?

  • @thehumanshin , because he just is LOL! nah I retract my statement rza can be more creative thats why hes scoring in films but I still prefer premo's beats he mastered the boom bap sound! rza does that classical shit! but rza is top 5 producers IMO.

  • @sfknns good answer..

  • @tical2399 this album was experimental. Have you listened to this whole album? Hardcore soul hip-hop, some extreme shit. Kanye and all of them did it years later, and not so fucking hard, but RZA was the pioneer.

  • @tical2399 Fuck yeah he experiments what do you expect? Him to do the same shit over and over again for 20 years?

  • classic ghostface and raekwon sick lyrics with the legendary mahalia jackson in the background u have to wonder how does the RZA do it.

  • I think it's called Sunset Park

  • The most talented rapper right now is the one and only MF DOOM...I recommend him to anyone who's interested in TALENTED RAP...Or some other good hip hop like De La Soul, Blackstar albums, And ALL YOUNG PEOPLE GO LISTEN TO BIG L AND DISCOVER WHAT COULDVE BEEN THE BEST RAPPER TO EVER LIVE HAD HE NOT BEEN KILLED..
