He does what so many musicians simply aren't willing to do. Continue to play, go back again and again, and improve the song until it is how you want it. He probably has worked on that song 200 times.

well nogreaterlove, u most likely are correct. i'm priveliged enough to be from around jakes hometown, and a friend of mines brother was in a band called Spencer, which is where Jake began his music career... i've watched him play for quite some time, and as i understand jake was basically the heart and soul of spencer. spencer still has a myspace if u wanna check it out, but spencers music is a little more rock n roll than jakes stuff now, but it kicks ass all the same.
