The solos are great .! I played mellophone. Were doing this show this year and i have that solo and i'm pretty nervous to do it, it takes alot of guts !

Ok I jus have to speak on this, to whomever said that this show was full of flaws, you had to have been there to kno that this was a FLAWLESS show not because I was in the band (sophomore) at the time but we kicked ass...we were known then and now as THEE school to have straight superior ratings no school in Hillsborough county could touch our shows
I love color guard's costumes & props. But the band has not middle voice support. Lead trumpet should back off. Ontario High did the Lion King too, the movie just has great music to it.
This is not a very good show. It has many faults but also has its god points! to see a great show type in "Licking Heights Marching Band" and see the show titled wicked that was an amazing band! they were ranked one in their state!
you're right...that is a really cool show, rmstephan. If i'm not mistaken, KHS did their version of Wicked as well but I don't see it here on youtube.
oh, and if you REALLY wanna see a good show type in "Cavaliers 2003" on Google Video. It's been deemed by fans as one of the best 2nd place finishes in Drum Corp International history. ...and make note of the vibraphone player on the far right.
Hey....I was that idiot! Wow, this brings back memories. I don't think the drum major (man I wish I could remember who it was) brought the band in too soon. There was a 4 count timpani solo roll and i didn't change drums quick enough, thus making me look like an idiot. LOL! Oh well, it was good enough for Superior.
Hahaha I wonder which of these ppls uniform i am wearing... We're getting new ones in 2013

Lion King was one of the greatest shows ever. This viedo didn't do the show justice. You had to be there, or in it ;)

that drum major brought the band in way too early at the end. that was the tempani's time to shine and he/she made that guy look like an idiot.
