Speaking of graphics though, I believe they fit the aesthetics of the game wonderfully. If you ever get bored read about The Uncanny Valley (wiki speaks mostly on robotics, but it definitely applies to 3D models as well), after you do you might understand why these graphics were much better than more "realistic" looking graphics anywho.
