Cidadãos, ainda não podemos dizer que o Brasil é uma potência militar em hipótese alguma. É só pesquisar um pouco e descobre se que o investimento em defesa no Brasil não é levado a serio. Temos quase 200 aviões velhos, 5 submarinos, meia duzia de navios-enferrujados, tanques obsoletos e por ai vai. O congresso só vai perceber a necessidade de proteger nosssa soberania, quando estivermos na iminencia de um ataque hostil. O brasil precisa fortalecer a industria nacional, e aeroespacial urgente!

O incrivel é que por anos seguidos o orçamento das forças armadas foi maior até mesmo que o orçamento da area de SAÚDE, mas o problema é que 80% desse orçamento foi para pagamento de pessoal, apesentados, ativa, beneficios... e uma merda para aparelhamento, mordenização etc...
Mas eu tenho fé que isso vai mudar...

@filadaputaotario O BRIC não é um grupo de potências "militares" emergentes, e sim de potências economicamente emergentes. O Brasil ocupa a Oitava posiçao nos dois rankings. O que militarmente ainda é pouco (China=2, Rússia=3, Índia, 4). Talvez, talvez, essa condiçao melhore futuramente, porém, com o descaso do governo perante ao brasileiro, isso vai ser dificil e demorado. Os soldados, pilotos, e marinheiros do Brasl sao Excepcionais, mas desequipados para seu "nivel".

Well guess what, by that standard, it means people in India can buy more because the cheap lifestyle of Indian residents is a compensation for its miserable GDP per capita. In nominal terms, the world's 4th economy, German's is more than the double of that of India. But Germany has less than 10% of India population. Also, India has a milenar civilization, which has failed to develop over the centuries. Brazil has less than 500 years.
