Racial profiling does exist in the U.S.A. but it only affects white people negativly because cops can get away with whatever they want with a white person but when it comes to blacks or any other race they have to be carefull so they dont loose their jobs for being racist.

An intelligent man can use his superior mind to defuse almost any situation. The reason this went bad is because Gates is a raciest. If he talked to the officer in a calm levelheaded way it would have all been over in a matter of minutes. He challenged the officer because he was white. He was rude, and pushy and refused to cooperate. What smart man would do that to a police officer? Every citizen is "obligated" not to fight with police. If you want respect show respect. Gates hates white people

@MrMikeFla well to be honest i'm not familiar with the individual so i don't know if he has proven himself a racist however i see absolutly no evidence that the guy is a racist in this instance. also please don't go about life thinking anybody is obligated to you or you are obligated the anyone cause its just not true. the officer was not obligated to beleive him or to be polite to him nor did the guy have an obligation to do the same. the issue here is the wrongful arrest in my opinion
