This reporter should be proud to have this 'package' (industry-term) on his reel. This was a finely shot/researched/written/produced/edited news-piece. Not to mention the extra added attraction of our stars.
LOVE THIS! I had the pleasure of meeting June Foray in the late 80s. A very, friendly, approachable woman. I was one of those people that said "I grew up with your cartoons". She responded in her best Natasha voice, "Thank you Dahlingk!". :-)
June's a genius who I had the pleasure of working with back in 1999 and she's a truly nice person as well, I'm so happy to report... all 4 foot 11 of her!
4 and 20 black birds baked in a pie....Boris shows up and Bullwinkle pulls a blackbird out of the pie and says to Boris..."I always wanted to give you the bird"...ta da!
AWESOME! I grew up with Rocky and Bullwinkle; they're still my cartoon favorites. I remember when Bill passed away, as well as Jay Ward. I was so saddened by it. I need to find the most recent DVD of all of their material...I'll play it over and over!
Oh, this was really nice. Thank you so much for posting it! This takes me back to my childhood. I remember these voices so well, and voice actors like Bill Scott and June Foray deserve more praise and recognition for their talents.
OMG!!! I didn't know the voice of rocky was a women, i thought a guy with an hormone imbalance...seriously. I watched Rocky when they were 1st run in the early 60's. I guess old age makes you appreciate the simpler things in life, god knows we've all been through life's complexities, good to reset with something that gave us pleasure at an earlier time......
I've watched thousands of hours of comedy, comedians great and small, yet nothing makes me laugh harder than "Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit outta my hat..."
June Foray and Bil Scott also voiced Grammi and Gruffi Gummi respectively during the first season of Disney's Gummi Bears. Sadly, Scott died after the first season was completed, but if you watch any of the episodes where he voices Gruffi, you can hear a hint of Bullwinkle in Gruffi's voice. :D
How old is this clip? Can't be later than 1985, the year Bill Scott died.

It's interesting that in real life they have the same difference in height that they have in cartoons.
