    was another life! Pure Magic!!!

  • thanks planetolusola for reminding me

  • can anybody tell me when is this song is release?

  • The original release date back to the 60's.

  • God bless you, PlanetOlusola. You are awesome.

  • My pleasure oneworld. Thanks for enjoying it.

  • "The times are hard, there is no money to spend; women and men, all they cry about is the cash crunch." Such poignant lyrics! Incidentally when the song was popular the term for economic leanness in Nigeria was "austerity", long before we ever knew about "recession", "depression", "SFEM" or "SAP". I am just about ready to appreciate Victor Olaiya now! By the way, Hubert Ogunde is part of the Nigerian Highlife tradition; does anyone have his music to put up on youtube? They are collectors' gems.

  • Poignant indeed. Obama may as well use this song as a flagbearer for his economic stimulus efforts! lol
