  • The awkward moment when your parrot nicks off with your hair dryer O_o

  • Gorgeous bird!!

  • Now teach him to sing Walking On Sunshine while taking a shower.

  • 6 people were waiting for the shower !

  • wow what a nice bird

  • What a beautiful bird and obviously loved very much.

  • Wow, that's a big parrot!

  • He's really happy =)

  • 6 people were put showering on youtube

  • He looks so happy, what a great owner!

  • He looks having fun:) Nice job!

  • I want one and my mom approves too ! If I had 1,000 dollars I would but I will save up

  • @Widwo1324 ugh i know plus the freaking vet and the giant cage u need as well, they are more expensive than freaking dogs. But sooo worth it and they live longer than dogs.

  • @Sausageman666 really? how long do birds live? i really want one

  • @SSJKenpachiZaraki apparently 50+ for Macaws but in general most parrots easily live past 15 years

  • 6 dislikes? Must be cat lovers.

  • omg omg omg i want one soooooo bad exept my dad dont like birds to muhc any more after his conyer crapt down my great uncles face 15 years ago so instead of a bird he got me a guinea pig if any one knows a good cheap breeder in seattle for macaws or conyer or any thing elce pppllleeeaaassseee tell me and i will be eternly grateful 4 u o wise one :P

  • That's awsome. My Blue and Gold Macaw HATES water. P.S. Getting another, baby this time. Any hint's so that it will like water?

  • Stop getting your feathers in the drain!

  • How long did he stay in there lol. Also do the chemiclas in the water do anything to his feathers? Do you have to spray his feathers with oil or anything afterwards

  • this is some flintstone shitt

  • any bird that has been taken from its natural habitat breaks my heart... i can just imagine this bird soaring through the sky....

  • @andrewpantalones

This guy looks like he's taking very good care of his feathery friend. A macaw in the wild, while free, would be exposed to diseases and other such nasties.

  • i love macaws but my friend hade one and it tried to bite me so now im afraid to hold him again

  • nice..... and now the bird films you while taking a shower!

  • he's gorgeous!

  • Who needs birdbaths when you have showers!

  • That's too cool :))

  • what a beautiful bird! love it when it has its wings fully spread out!

  • I wish I could do that with my flock!

  • cute

  • the bird likes to have his bath in a bathroom LIKE A BOSS~!

  • its adorable, very sweet and wonderful ^_^

  • BURDY.

  • My birds also love lots of water

  • cool

  • AWWWW!

  • Watching these videos makes me depressed. Depressed by their cuteness and the fact that I can't have a macaw ever.

    :C

  • he REALLY loves to shower huh?

  • wow great set up you made for him!

  • more like who likes to take a bird-shower! lol, too cte!

  • Now that's a shower! Beautiful bird <3

  • That is awesome. Thanks for posting.

  • I think birds are the only pets that get cooler and more beautiful as they get older, compared to cats and dogs for example, who are much cuter as young kittens and puppies :P

  • how can i get a blue and gold macaw

  • @sabatondriftclub Theres this breeder in the UK, barrettwatsonparrots.co.uk

  • @SenorPipaDeLaPaz thanks i want 1 for when i live in america wud the guy ship them

  • @sabatondriftclub in that case wait until you're there, there are plenty of legit breeders and shops that have good practices, one of the best in the east coast of the u.s. is royalbirdcompany. com and they do ship within the u.s.

  • @SenorPipaDeLaPaz thanks i will go check out the site now

  • hahaha! I've never seen a bird take a shower before! this is so cute!

  • mine doesnt like being bathed for some reason he keeps running around and wont keep still

  • Красота)

  • I see he's not afraid to show off to the camera. Lolllz he's gorgeous. :)

  • he is so cute <3

  • getting one of these

  • I love your fancy shower area :-)

  • woah! Hes big

  • I love parrots, but I can't decide if I want to have one. Growing up with a Moluccan cockatoo, I know what a commitment it is. But I don't know if I can be happy without one, either. Ugh, the confusion!!

  • If only cats were as enjoyable to watch doing so...oh wait...never mind :)

  • That is so awesome. That big guy is lucky to have a cool owner like you.

  • My B&G is the exact opposite. Absolutely hates water unless it is actually raining outside.

  • how did you set that contraption up for him in the shower? i have a U2 and soon i will be getting a greenwing, so i need a set up like that

  • very cute, i like how you didnt cut his wings though :)

  • "WHO FLUSHED THE TOILET?"

  • He's having a good time.

  • my cockatiel, Llod, gets a shower every sat & sun

  • Gorgeous bird

  • can u do that with a cockatiel

  • he is sooooo beautiful!!!

  • It seems the wings are not clipped. Is it just my impression? If not, how are you taking care of the bird's flying abilities? I have a 12 week old scarlet, which is flying, and already learned how to crash :s I don't want to clip it.

  • how much do people send their money buying or adopting a macaw? i only got is pure cockatiels

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! THIS IS THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! OOOOH MY GOOOOOSH!!

  • That looks exactly like my shower!!!!!! I was like wtf?! And then ran into my bathroom to look for blue and yellow feathers..... -.- I feel stalked......

  • so cute how he does that whistle when he gets under the water. :)

  • wish i had one of those...i currently have parakeets, but every person who like birds wish to have a beautiful macaw like this one..

  • @PBWillyWonka I will like to hear you say that 2 weeks into owning one. Had mine for 22 years now and I tell ya they are a lot of work. Attention, attention, attention… they think they are the center of the universe. I cannot sit at the computer for 2 minutes before it opens the cage and duck walk over to be on my shoulder. Right now it is trying to eat the keyboard because it thinks I am playing with it rather than her. By the way no need for a dog.

  • @nyndugu

Yep, good encouragement there. I'll try that with my kids when they're old enough to drive. "Want a car? I want to hear how that sounds to you after witnessing a horrible screamfest of twisted metal and organs after it wrecks!"

  • OMGOMGOMGOMG soooo cuteeee!!! X->

  • was the bird wistling? or was that you.

  • @mikuXfriends101 it was him

  • I has a red headed amazon that just loved to shower, exactly like this one. To dry off, she would flap her wings like crazy..Great spport for her...and me to. A great bird you have there..

  • thank you my kids love the video :)

  • Hi and THANKS to everyone for the cool comments!

In response to a few questions; I keep the water just warm, it's got to be just right for my bird, and as far as introducing a bird to the shower, I just put the spray as soft as possible and give him room to stay dry, or get wet. This way it is on his terms (like so many aspects of HIS!) I also make sure he has a warm (preferably sunny) spot to dry for a couple of hours.

P.S. > I also use a cold squirt botttle to reprimand crazy screamin'!!

  • @damstr8831 do u let him air dry or do u give him a towel to dry himself?

  • @damstr8831 You should let him try blow drying. I've not yet met a parrot who doesn't find that to be absolutely blissful after a shower. It can be time consuming because of how well they soak up the water, but seeing the sheer enjoyment they get makes it worth every moment.

  • I LOVE how he(?) wiggles his butt around!! :] I have been attempting to introduce my parrotlet to "showers" but he doesn't approve of the mist setting on the water bottle.

Suggestions? He's so small, I fear putting him in th eshower would be too much! :p

  • @Imaunicornz Yes, that would be too small, I'm afraid!

  • amazing

check out my budgie boy, he's awesome too in his own way.

  • What temperature do you use for washing parrots?

  • This is so cute!! :D

  • you are lucky!!! my parrot is always ungry when i put him in the shower xD

  • Haha hilarious! :D

  • Do you have the water hot or cold

  • @cinccivideo Having the water on warm - not too hot or too cold is good for birds. They enjoy it more that way. :)

  • And my bird screams like HELL when i spray her with water x'D

  • hiii

i have a ring neck that takes showers with mee too, but, this guy over there is really enjoying him self haha

  • i really want one but they have wing dust it a disease

  • My Sun Conure used to come into the shower with me and take one too.

    :]

  • @66Metallicaman66 use to? what happened to the bird?

  • @erik19a Well Sun Conure--Pele--wasn't very nice to my sister. She flew over to her and just started to attack her. (LOL)

So we just had to get rid of her. I still keep in touch with the new owner. He's a friend of my dad. Pele's doing fine. She's really liking the new owner too.

  • I like how you made a stand for your bird.

  • the last time i turned the tap on for my macaw she bit my noes of. then i turnec the tempriture up!!!!!! she loves it

  • Did you use warm water or cold water?

  • thanks for the best showering bird video ever. it is beatuiful

  • ur macaw's blue feathers r so shiny!!!!!!!!!

  • the macaw it thinking, "Its rainning in this half of the rain forest!

  • what a beautiful bird! i'm so excited to get my own macaw!

  • Sounds like RD-D2

  • amazing bird ;D

  • does he like the water hot or cold?

  • he's so pretty! :)

  • precioso!!

  • I LOVE THAT YOU HAVNT CLIPPED HIS WINGS. THATS A HAPPY BIRD.

  • I love macaws :) And this one is so funny :)

  • Ive never seen something like this!!!

  • Amazing video! I would love to have a bird like this, but with all my fish I don't need any more commitment..lol

  • That thing is big

  • he really likes it. so cute

  • woohhh, whistling at himself? o.o.. those wings looked reaally heavy when they were wet o.o

  • He looks like a boy, how old is he?

  • Wow, those wings are magnificent! :)

  • Mine make noises I have never heard before when they shower!

  • My birds love to shower with me? but not to this extreame XD

  • i have a parakeet:) are there personalities alike? p.s he is adorable!!!

  • just wondering is the water warm, cold or room tempriture?

  • Man.i wish mine would do that.lol.maybe if i force my parakeets and take a shower with them in my hand,MAYBE it'll get used to it.maybe.or it'll just drown.

Just kidding.i love my baibies! lol :D

  • @elsielsie703 If you want your birds to get used to showering, start off misting them with a water bottle

  • What a gorgeous bird! I love how the water makes his bright blue feathers even brighter :D

  • its only the weight of the water that can make it difficult for some birds to fly when drenched. but tropic birds can handle more because of the oils on their feathers.

  • awww hes singing

  • i thought when a bird his wings wet it cant fly any

    more?

  • @babygerl99 um you realize that would mean any bird caught in the rain would never fly and that most parrots live in the rain forest and also birds take baths in ponds and fountains and my pool -.-' and there are alot of birds that swim like ducks and seagulls and such...just saying but if you put salt on them most birds will stop flying temporarily my math teacher had to use that trick to catch a sparrow that got in the room so he could catch it without hurting it

  • @babygerl99 not really true, only harder to fly because the wings are heavier because of the water....

  • awwwwh its loving that !

  • im singiingin in the rain siinging in the rain glorious feeling im happy again!!!!

  • IN THE CAR WASH YEA

  • HAHA HOW DO YOU DRY OFF THIS MONSTER?

  • @hayandneedle Humen are bigger, so how do we dry of children? :P

  • @hayandneedles its called you dry it with a towel you dodo bird XD

  • @hayandneedles let him/her sit there and air dry while they talk to themselves

  • @hayandneedles first off: hes a M A C A W. second: the M A C A W pretty much dries himself by just sitting and cleaning him/herself.

  • @frerty1

Yeah, we often get the macaw and monster subspecies of bird confused. Tone down your self-righteous internet charades a bit, eh? His remarks were of how large the bird is.

  • WOOW! AMAZING BIRD!!!

  • wow great looking bird! interesting to see his feathers unclipped, does he fly around the house?

  • so cute

  • SO CUTE!!

  • He could get that brain eating bacteria in his nose and die.

  • @jvbaskfavsj you could too

  • @TheJam1192 im just paranoid

  • @jvbaskfavsj a truck could also smash right through the shower. they should move too, right?

  • i can't stop smiling....great video

  • This is the only type of bird that can live up to one hundread years ! :)

  • @vShadowWARRIORv What about cockatoos?

  • If I had the time and money I would definitely get a Parrot. Every single video I watch of one never fails to make me giggle. :3

  • wats the temp of the water

  • that is a really big bird no joke most of them look really small in the videos but he/she is huge!!!!

  • lol love this, it keeps him in touch with his rain forest roots. beautiful bird!

  • Great shower perch!

  • COOL and VERY clever. I hope my macaw does this when I get him

  • aaaaaaawwww cute ::)<3

  • Comment removed

  • @damstr8831 how did you make that shower perch?

  • i wish my love bird could do that

  • I love the clever shower set up!

  • bird has it made!! :) absolutely adorable!

  • wonderful
