@jtwattsup I'm a Seattle native and Seahawks fan, but believe me, I was pulling for the Saints in 2009-10 vs. Indy. And, I LIKE Indy, too. A Seahawks fan can't dislike the Saints or even the Rams, because we were still in the AFC when the Rams were in that same position in 1999-00 that the Saints were in in 2009-10. I'll say this: knowing how banged up New Orleans was, plus the home field for Seattle, I wasn't shocked. Don't worry, Saints will be back, when they get healthy.

Thankfully, Brees, Hasselbeck, and Cetler came out of the games so far healthy, and when your franchise QB is healthy, it's easy to think that losing guys at "other positions" is something you can overcome. It turns out to be more of a "silent killer," as it did in the Saints, and then the Hawks at Chicago; depleted depth. Cetler did well, too.

I personally thik that the NFL and NFLPA both are completely insane if they bench a multibillion dollar cash cow that is the NFL over a labor dispute. You can find good and bad things looking at it from both sides of the argument. From the players, I'd be pissed if I was expected to play more games and make the same amount of money, whereas from the owners I'd be pissed to pay players more for the same number
