The instruction manual for old "Tempo" mopeds (made in Norway, German Sachs engine) said the fuel could be a mix consisting of up to 50% diesel... In case of emergency or hard times...! A good single-grade motor oil could also be used instead of 2-stroke oil. According to manual!
Dat heb ik een maand terug ook gedaan, ik had ongeveer de helft met diesel gevuld. Als je brommer goed warm is, dan loopt ie prima, maar het starten 's ochtends was een ramp. Bij lage toeren moest m'n choke d'r op, anders viel 'ie weg. Na ff rijden werd het beter.

Its true. Remember kids, that the Diesel is also fuel, but must be heated up to a higher temperature than gasoline to burn.
This works better in a two stroke. not recommended in a four stroke because this may destroy the valves.
