ABC never had a Satellite Truck stolen . Nightline never planned to do a live show from Flint. Moore made it all up. Also, At a flashy "Great Gatsby"-style party, he implied they hire the out-of-work to pose as "human statues." . Not correct. That party was a charity even for the poor. The human statues were hired actors for that event. Union Actors. Moore only showed the black actors to make it look racist. The man who held the charity event sued Michael Moore .
@kingduff2082 I know what you mean... It was more so Flint, MI's fault for having everybody work for one company. Is it wrong for a company or person to want to make more profit?
Moore was sued over this film and lost. He showed people as human statues and made it look like unemployed black people at a rich mans house so desperate for work they would do this kind of work. Trouble is it was a charity event. The lawyer who did it worked for the poor pro bono. He said Moore made him look racist. He won .
He got laid off when they closed down Buick WHQ, and closed his office. It shows this in the movie at the end when the credits roll. I wonder if Fred Ross paid him a visit later on? Would have been the perfect irony.
this film was great and very disurbing it amazes me what companies like gm get up to and still do. it was upsetting seeing the workers laid off and that flint and michigan never got out of the depression michael moore is my hero in this film.

BS. Guy just likes stirring up trouble. Companies do things like that -- it's part of being a company. That's how it works, you have to do things like that sometimes. Not good, but necessary.
Too bad the whole thing is a lie and completely disregards the group of people who actually started the activist movement and worked with Moore until he decided it should all be about him. Look up Michael Westfall.
Michael is awesome, dude. Admirable work
