you have the capability to be a good teacher... learn everything about the guitar and by that i mean stop calling dead notes chuck strums they are called dead notes and palm muting doesn't make it dead it just muffles the sound and the second thing is i remember you saying it was the "second" string that the riff was on when actually its the fifth because the strings are counted with the high e as 1 and the low E as 6 and i'm sure you know this know now since this was posted over two years ago

@MysteryPwned Well look at it this way. Standard tuning the notes from first to sixth is E B G D A E, so drop d is, E B G D A D, so really you just have to change one string. The sixth one. From an E note to a D note. Takes no time. Hope that helped.:)
