  • Very Good! I am starting to play this and this helps a lot.

  • I didn't think he did badly at all.

  • You play good!!! Better than me, and im way older than you!!!

  • anyway, to play a study like this (it's not easy as it seems) it should take more than 2 weeks: only in this way you can improve it and reach the result you want.

so my comment is: nice job, but maybe it was too early to post it. this is the only critic i have to say

  • i've started to study this yesterday. in my opinion this video is not a bad performance, it has just to be improved and "cleaned" a bit. in the expression for example, tecnically I havent't noticed any problem. about he tempo I sicerely don't care: anyone does what he wants, with the dinamics too. anyone likes a piece in a way: for example i think i'll never find a "doctor gradus ad parnassum" (children's corner, debussy) played as I want.

  • Come on, your videos are not "perfect" either. He doesn't say it is a tutorial, youtube is just a place to share.

  • @tvfanatics2 Thank you for ur support, iknow i didnt play the piece perfectly but they needed to mention every misstake i played..

  • Oh and that link should say 2:01 - 2:02

  • Hi. Im 13 and my teacher gave me this to me a few days ago. I have been looking on Youtube for a good version of this so that I can hear someone else playing it. I agree with hellboyreloaded because you really should get the piece perfected before you post it on Youtube. It can really mislead others to think that this is really how it should be played, when it really is not. (message continues in the bellow comments)

  • I looked at the music while i played the video and I can see a lot of mistakes. In the beginning, it says dolce piano... you played it forte. You need to work on the dynamics throughout. There are many places where it has a crescendo or a decrescendo. You either did not stress the change between the two dynamics, or you did not play the correct dynamic. Also, when playing an arpeggio up the keyboard, you should get louder, but not get out of the given dynamic.

  • Also, in a phrase, the last note should be the softest note. You almost always made it the loudest. I know that Burgmuller was a romantic composer and that you can use rubato tempo, but you overdo it in the second part. The left hand notes are almost all sixteenth notes and you play the first note of each measure as if they are eighth notes. And at 2:02, I can not tell if you are playing the right hand with the left hand.

  • And last but not least, the last section goes back and forth from sforzando to piano, while you played it pretty much piano throughout the whole thing. And at the end, you can play rubato, but you should still base it off of a certain metronome tempo--you can't play very fast, then very slow, and then very fast again. Well that's it. I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm just giving you some advice for this and to say that you should really learn a piece before you post it on Youtube.

  • Horrible.

  • @hellboyreloaded Learn to play first before u say something, moron

  • @myggaz LOL, you say you learned it in 2 weeks, although you didn't play like 6 or more bars of the first part, you play horribly the octaves on the second part. At 2:03 it says "decrescendo" and look at your right hand. Horrible, isn't it? And you are saying you learned it in two weeks. You had enough time to study the expression marks, and to remember all the piece correctly, didn't you? BTW, i learned this piece, some time ago, and believe me, 2 weeks are too much time for this little etude.

  • @hellboyreloaded U little faggot, upload a video that shows me that ur better than me, u can talk but let me hear you play first. This was like two years ago, and i can learn it in 1 hour now. I think that you would play this piece for like 3 moths before u could play it without any misstakes. Ur not a piano master so dont pretend to be someone that u arent. little kid.

  • @myggaz hahaha yeah whatever you say, man. Maybe i'll upload a video, when i have some time, for like 3 months! hahahah. Man, my teacher gives me 2 Chopin Etudes to do in 3 months, plus other pieces, and you think this etude will take me more than 10 minutes?

  • @hellboyreloaded I'm playing more advanced song right now how old r u? , please dont hate everyone spanish bastard

  • @myggaz i'm16, haha only because i tell you the truth, and if you don't accept your playing of this etude is horrible, you got a loooong way to walk.

  • @hellboyreloaded I'm 16, and u cant even anylisize, if u were educated i woulld listen to u but now u just have wrong.

  • @myggaz ok, how sad, you can't accept that this is a bad rendition. And is more sad the fact that just because i say this is a horrible rendition (because it is) you think i'm a hater. You'll never be a good pianist( yes, pianist, because to be a good musician is a lot harder) if you are arrogant and don't accept your mistakes.

  • @hellboyreloaded i think i'm a better pianist than you, you dont need to use the word horrible, and i dont want to listen to ur bullshit anyways, because your a little kid who just think that he knows what he's talking about.

  • @myggaz ahahha ok, you are a better pianist than me if you say so, but please, learn a piece before posting it on youtube, its a recommendation for ALL of the videos of your channel. There is not even 1 good rendition. At least learn it technically (there are a lot of mistakes on your videos) because to learn it musically, hmmm i think you'll never get it. I'm Sorry.

  • @hellboyreloaded seriously i just wanna punch in the face, OMG please stop pretend that u are something that ur not please ignorant bastard

  • @myggaz LOL i'm just saying the obvious things, the people that doesn't know nothing about music can say "Ohh Bravo", "ohhh brilliant!" but anyone who knows the most basic things about music and the pieces you play, will agree with me. So if you want to lie to yourself, your problem.

  • @hellboyreloaded I haven't even seen one person before who has sad that before, i'll think everyone would just hate u , becuase ur a HATER.

  • @myggaz admit it, the people that see your videos doesn't know crap about music, there are only a few who knows, like i said, the most basic things and can tell you the truth. If you think I'm a hater, ok, i don't care, keep lying to yourself. I DON'T CARE!

  • @hellboyreloaded Whatever you say, dont care about your opinion!

  • @myggaz It's not an oppinion, it's a fact.

  • @hellboyreloaded and @300pianist; I think you can't say he played bad with many mistakes; you can only say you don't like how he played the study; the important is that he likes

  • @painco94 in this case we can say he play "bad" because he didn't play a section of the piece, i don't think it's so hard to notice. I'm saying he should study for more time this piece, because the fact that he don't remember a whole section of the piece means that he didn't studied properly.

  • @hellboyreloaded Seriously, i admit that i didnt play it properly so can you please stfu for once?

  • @myggaz lol no one is even talking to you, you failure.

  • @hellboyreloaded Fk u !

  • <3

  • The melody makes people happy...hope to see the other 11 studies soon..

  • Bra jobbat!!

  • One word.

    Brilliant.

And it's amazing how you learn so fast.

Keep your good work up, some day you'll hopefully become a composer.
