  • Great song!! Silly comments on John x Paul, seriously!!! Lennon died more than 30 years ago and still makes the two top comments on a Paul video wich doesn't even relate to him... Talk about being a legend!!!

  • @voabarros he is a legend for sure but the top comments in youtube videos aren't really to be used as any sort of indicator. Usually the top comments are about something retarded.

  • @voabarros how could lennon be jeallus of paul? I don't get it, explain.

  • I agree with the comment below mine!

  • I think Paul's solo stuff was better than John and Georges. There I said it! ....Its out now!

  • Love the song !

  • I got this record love it

  • @MaryJanesLastDance86 me too!!!!!!!!but it sounds crazy weird or is it just me??????

  • Really, where dig frog chorus come from them???????

  • I Love The Video!!

  • Hey @ramon19141 What's the nerdrage against Paul McCartney? you don't like his music? simply, go away. kthxbyebye

  • lmao to you paul and lennon haters... this is lennon's favourite song in McCartney II

  • Love this song since the 80s!!!!

  • Btw Lennon was jealous of Paul, deal with it Lennon water carriers

  • @urberstud why?

  • This song fucked up Lennon lol

  • What drove John Lennon back to recording music. :-) Is there anything Paul can't do?

  • The version of this on the wingspan album is WAYYYY better.

  • Faul rocks on this album

  • Paul McCartney 1942 - 1966

  • @ramon19141 No, Paul McCartney 1942 - Present day.

  • @beatlesfan464 He died TODAY?! (tee hee)

  • The REAL talent of the Beatles.

  • @ThePetrohaulic All of them were talented.

  • @ThePetrohaulic I'd say lennon and mccartney we're equally as talented and innovative. Though I do like lennons solo stuff better than mccartneys. paul did a lot of cheesy bullshit in his solo career. he also wrote the ONLY beatles song I dislike, "The long and winding road" which, after hearing that that was their last hit, I'm kinda of happy they broke up at that time

  • I love this album. Paul is so much more than expected.

  • I always liked this version better than the live one.

  • This was the very first song from Paul I ever heard. Fell in love instantly.

  • My mom loved this song!!!

  • Used to listen to this to get myself pumped up to go out and do dirt.

  • ok this song is a massive grower

  • I like this song and it sounds abit like it should be in Fifa...

  • ahead of his time.

  • "When Brian died, Paul tried to take over, too lead us. But all he did was lead us around in circles". - John Lennon

  • @ramon19141 Trololololo--

Oh wait, I'm not supposed to feed you.

  • @ThatRandomBeatle hahahahaha

  • this song got john lennon back into recording. therefore it is a fucking classic

  • 1988, just heading into the london rave scene and this was one of our favourite tracks - for obvious reasons, gr8 lyrics

  • To Paul: "The sound you make is MUZAK to my ears, you mustive learned something in all those years." - John Lennon

  • @ramon19141 and after that, he even admitted that it was not against paul, just sayin'

  • Brilliant song and album! Always loved this version, yet you only ever hear the live version on the radio.

  • John Lennon can be compared to Mozart, while McCartney resembles his less-talented rival Salieri.

  • @ramon19141 Bullsh*t! Macca had as much talent as Lennon. You need to read "Here, There and everywhere" to REALLy appreciate his genius and contributions to the Beatles and beyond. Lennon was killed at 40...that's the only difference.

  • @ramon19141 Lennon : Beeethoven :: McCartney : Mozart

  • Lennon :  Beethoven :: McCartney : Mozart

  • What was McCartney saying inside the album/cd sleeve of McCartney II dressing up like a japanese policeman mushtace and all and slanted eyes probably the ones that arested him in japan in early 1980 for carrying pot in customs and another pic of him wearing round glasses in what appears to be mocking john lennon....and looking threw a bead necklace,in my opinion, calling them both assh@#!%$#es...does anyone know what he was tryng to say....check it out...

  • I heard this in gym teacher movy

  • am paul or john? it has to be john! :D

  • Comment removed

  • mccartney 2 was a visionary album looking back on it.

it set the tone for the 80ies.

  • @cosmicrider287 thats very true with all its little bits of electro pop!

  • Happy Birthday Paul!!

  • Even John Lennon liked this song!

  • @kreeepyy Yep, true.

  • @kreeepyy Yes about June 1980 John said this in an interview which was great to hear as the respect between both song writers was still there.

  • Band on the Run and this II is the best of Paul for me.

  • I heard in a documentary that Paul McCartney was told by a leprechaun that he would be famous and the whole Beatles band too, Something i heard on a paranormal show :)

  • @murdlok Not quite. When asked how they came up with the name Beatles, John Lennon made up a story about a little man on a flaming pie, who told them that from that day forth, they would be called Beetles with an "a". :)

  • @FriendlyShadow1 The mystery now is if he was ever dopped when that happened.

  • @murdlok paranormal things does not exists. That's why it's called paranormal, if it exists would be called normal.

  • @missurunha1 Ok.

  • I think this Paul is way more talented than the one they killed in '67.

  • @mackler what do you mean, "the one they killed in '67"?

  • @mackler Paul is dead reference?

  • @mackler prove pauls death

  • @bombranger OMG the clues are all over the place. For one thing, he's the ONLY one on the cover of Abbey Road with no shoes. What do you want, a headline in the New York Times?

  • The no-shoes don't prove it. Lennon's wearing shoes, and he's dead! ^_^

  • @mackler wtf it does not matter if there are no shoes! as you can see from the cover, it was a sunny warm day and if you ever have worn a suit on a sunny day it gets really hot and even taking shoes of would help a lot. what paul said, he was wearing flip-flops or sandals or what ever and took them away because it would not look good on the cover.

and how did they found a straight clone from paul: same looking, left handed, musical genious and sound exactly the same

explain me this if u can :)

  • @bombranger OMG I can't believe you fell for that "hot day" story. If it's so hot, why are they all wearing suits? Wouldn't you take your jacket off before your shoes? And do you really think a professional entertainer would wear sandals to a photo shoot?! No, that picture was planned, probably before he was offed. And yes he died in a car. No it wasn't an accident. Your "hot day" story was debunked decades ago, and recent computer facial analysis has proved the truth to a scientific certainty.

  • @mackler wheres pauls body? and could you still explain me that how did they get a perfect copy of paul! even their teeth look the same! cloning hasnt been invented yet

  • @bombranger Where's Jimmy Hoffa's body? Where's Osama's body? You're really grasping at straws. Anyway, like I already said, modern facial analysis has been done on pictures of the two Pauls, and they are NOT the same. The ears are different, and the facial structure is different. The fake teeth are one of the few things they got right. Sure, a casual observer wouldn't notice, but these days computers can spot these things. This has been suspected for decades, but now the truth is irrefutable.

  • @mackler there has not been a proven computer analysis. There have been ones that showed that they were the same but not actual ones that have said they were different people. Paul Mccartney is alive.

  • @russiantoughguy Sure he is. Just keep telling yourself that.

  • @mackler Dont worry buddy I will

  • @mackler Paul McCartney gave finger prints in 1989 following a drugs charge - they match identically to the fingerprints he gave when arrested (and released without charge) following an assault in Hamburg March 1962 also involving Grace Maller and Bern (second name unintelligable from the charge paper). Grace Maller went on to live with Paul McCartney and Linda periodically from 1962 till around the ,late 70s at their farm in Scotland.

  • @mackler The Beatles put "clues" all over their albums to get a reaction out of the public, while at the same time making the best music in the world. They took it as a joke and thought it was very funny when dumbasses would get excited when finding "clues". John Lennon even SAID they thought it was hilarious.

  • @mackler they didnt kill him. and it was is 66 . it was a car accident

  • @mackler '66. So that means this Paul also made Sgt. Pepper. ;)

  • @TheOneartist

You'll never see the forest if you get distracted by the trees.

  • @mackler That rumor can't be true. If Paul McCartney had actually died, I doubt the so called imperssonater would've bothered keeping up his faux identity after the Beatles broke up, and he wouldn't have argued so much with the other Beatles.

  • @Holden8572 Dude, I think they were being ironic...

  • @mackler '66

  • @mackler I really hope you're being sarcastic and don't believe he actually died.

  • @mackler Ha! He didn't die. we all know that.

  • @mackler every song written by the beatles after the '67 paul was killed was written soley by john

so i have no idea why you would think a imposter would be more talented than the real thing

  • @miki4088pen

Because the new Paul was chosen after a massive talent search. They weren't going to kill the old one originally, but he refused to go along with the plan, so they had no choice.

  • @mackler ok you obviously have no fucking idea what the fuck your talking about

the origiinal paul allegedly died in a car crash nobody killed him

get your facts right before you start saying shit

  • @miki4088pen This is a stupid rumor idiot!!!! There's only one Paul from the Beatles and this is him

  • @MaryJanesLastDance86

dude did you not read my comment?

    i said allegedly

you need to stop being so rude

  • @miki4088pen sorry about that by' for the rude comment but it was all just lies like a hoax ppl had going around I own all Beatles records right from the first one and their was only one Paul not true silly ppl starting up stuff I think the bands do things like this just for publicity to make them more poplar to make money well sorry I was rude to u

  • @MaryJanesLastDance86 it ok breh, no worries

i understand, i own the records the shirts

anything that has to do with the beatles i try to get my hands on.

im glad we got that misunderstanding behind us and can now be friends :D

OR at least civil towards one another

  • Yeeahhh...I'm actually now partial to the live take myself also. The album version is okay, but yeah....the synthesized voice thing kind of ruins it.

  • The live version is clearly better than the studio version. That's obviously why the live version became the hit.

  • dis was the shizzzznit ... use to pop lock to this one back in da days... chaaa!!

  • whats with the cat?

  • @beatlebabe1969 The cat nibbles on wings.

  • Old School is Really New Wave New School Forever because I Feel Love by Donna Summer

since 1977 to 1980 we still hear Great Trance Music Today.

Before that we were listening to your Grandma and Grandpa's Hillbilly Music.

  • I actually had this on 8track LOL

  • soooo funkay!!!

  • I've a lot of Macca's LPs but not this one! I saw it today on a local marketplace and i thought; Yeah babe, your mine now! It's a heavy rotation already ;-)

  • stick around pretty baby, coming up! : )

  • This is the song John heard in a Car and sent him "Crackers" He couldn't get it out of head. This led him out of retirement and to the woodshed where he crafted "Double Fantasy"

  • Not heard this for ages!

  • Love this! It positively bounces. I know it's 1980 because I lived in St Andrews then and the song always reminds me of swimming on the West Sands (boy was it cold).

  • when this song came out in 1980, john thought paul had a good tune!!!

  • This song sounds a lot different than the live version but it's still a fun song to listen to

  • 2:04 it's in Polish ! :DDDD

    12 zł... starych ? :PP

  • I really like the rock video to this song.

  • Are you sure Lennon wasn't referring to the live version from Glasgow? I can't imagine he liked the studio version so much.

  • I always thought this song was a piece of junk. Lennon loved it! According to sources John Lennon used to say 'As Long as Paul keeps putting out crap, I don't feel the need to do anything' but when he heard this one he said 'I need to get to work again.' I always thought it was silly, trite and... I don't know, bad I guess.

  • @mrsgstd Reminds me of Fame (which lennon helped write) I feel the same way. (silly, trite, etc.)

  • The live version in Glasgow is far better but has never been re-released on CD -(

  • @TheRunner75

It has! Get the US version (not UK) of "Wingspan". And you'll have it!

  • @MarkII69 I've got the UK version of "Wingspan", not the US one :-(

Normally that kind of rarities are only available mostly on Japanese releases...

  • What a way for Paul to get started in the 80s!

  • @sandinyourshoes Meh, that was during the early mid 70's. I remember this when I was a kid.

  • Mid-70s? No, this album came out in 1980. It is also one of Paul's finest ever.

  • @epics7 it was 1980! jesus man, use google much?

  • @sandinyourshoes You mean end, right?

  • No, @GarsinX. Just 1980.

  • Happy New Year 2010!
